Stampin Sisters In Christ-Guest Spot

Good morning friends, I am excited to be sharing that I am one of the two guests playing along with the Stampin Sisters In Christ the month of August.  The other gal is the super talented Traci Major.  Below is a list of all the SSIC, please visit their blogs and show some luv!  The scripture this week is Psalm 148:7-10.....Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, and the challenge is to use a creature big or small on your creation.  I have also played along with several other challenges listed below.  I wanted to use scripture on my card and there is no better place to get scripture stamps than Verve.  There are so many Plain Janes scriptures stamps and lots of scripture stamps come in sets too.....head over to Verve and check them out!   I hope your day is blessed and you will make time to play along with SSIC, it is a great way to create and meditate on God's word too...enjoy!

Layers of Color-God's Blessings To You

Good morning peeps, I am sharing today with you another gorgeous stamp from Layers of Color called May Bouquet.  This flower bouquet is one of Layers of Colors newer sets, you can see this one and the other new stamps in the release here.  I have colored the centers with a golden yellow and kept the flowers white, to give a daisy look.  I added stickles to the centers and then cut the image out with circle nesties.  I added stitching, distressing, and a ribbon/lace bow.  The sentiment is from the set  Sent With Love, this set has some awesome sentiments, the one I used today is one of my favorites!  Be sure to check out Layers of Color often so that you do not miss their new releases!  I have used the Inspirational Sketches sketch for my card today.

I am having a stressful week, so I am going to leave you with a great quote....it is one I hold close to my heart!  There is tons of truth in this.....be encouraged and enjoy!
