Hello and welcome, I am sharing this weeks Waltzingmouse Sketch, I have added some elements to my version of the sketch. I have used the Waltzingmouse Stamp set Dainty Doilies, such a cool set. I stamped and cut out the shapes using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Dies and the added a gemstone; I added ruffled ribbon, a piece of lace, and the distressing to complete my card. Good morning peeps, I am sharing my cad using this weeks mojo sketch. I have flipped my sketch to make it a longer card. I have used the Verve set Dream Big and the Plain Jane Notebook Paper. I added a doliy, sponged with black soot ink, distressing, and stitching at the top of my banner. I tied pink seam binding ribbon with a prima flower to complete my card. Good morning, I have made a super simple card with this weeks Waltzingmouse Sketch, I have had very trying week. Two close friends passed away within three days of each other; we are remodeling 2 of our bathrooms and I painted our family room/my creating studio area. I so luv the finished product, I painted my trim/crown molding black...it is gorgeous! My card uses the Waltzingmouse Say It Loud set. I cannot wait to get my hands on the new sets, they have been ordered...yeah! I have used black lace and embossing to complete my card. I hope you have a super weekend...enjoy!

Good morning, it is time for another Mojo Monday sketch and this week is circle or square. I have went with the darling circle card, these are the cutest cards; you can tuck them away in someones lunch, briefcase, or duffel bag. I have used the colors from the CR84FN blog....luv this color combo together. I embossed the main circle, then made the next layer a little smaller than usual so that you could see more of the embossing. I added some stitching, the cut edge of the polka dotted paper and then tied seam binding ribbon. Finishing it off with pins. The scripture stamp is Verve and you can get your Verve stamps here; there is a huge spring sale going on you don't want to miss that, check it out! Have a great Monday, I will be painting and cleaning today...sooo excited about a few small home projects....enjoy!

I have played along with the Sketchbook Saturday sketch and The Ribbon Reel challenge, to use blue, kraft, white, red, and twine. I have used a Verve scripture stamp, check out all the great Plain Janes; I have used Proverbs 3:5 for my card today. i have dies cut the flowers, added the leaves, distressing, and burlap twine tied in a bow. I will be home this week painting and my dh is redoing a couple of our bathrooms, we will be busy. I am super excited about the changes and of course my cabinet that he is building to spiff up my studio(it is really not a studio, but it is to me...*grin*). Mojo Monday and Surprise Blog Hop For Julee!

I am soooo excited about my Mojo Sketch card for today, it is also a HUGE Surprise for Julee....surprise Julee! The Verve divas, mojo makers, and some super supportive friends of Julee's' have come together for a hop to honor her and the coming of the new baby boys! I hope you enjoy the hop Julee, we have each offered up advice and words of wisdom for you.
As you know, I do not have children of my own but as a woman and friend to you I say, listen to your boys; hear them and talk with them. Play with them, the house work can wait. Pick them up and hold them, one day you will not be able to and they will not want you to. Get plenty of rest and believe in yourself, you are amazing and you will be an amazing Mom! Lastly, but certainly not least teach them to know Jesus!

I have used the Verve set Practically Perfect. I also put to use what I learned in the Copic Class I attended Friday...I have a long way to go so be nice...lol. I am not happy with my skills, but I am sharing this with you in hopes that it will motivate me to keep practicing. Hi friends, I am sharing a new release Plain Jane from Verve. I luv this sweet sentiment, I know must of us has thought this so many times in life. I have cased today's' Featured Stamper over at SCS, you can join the fun here. You can pick up the Plain Jane and lots of great stamps that are on sale over at the Verve Store. I have stayed true to today's featured stamper CAS style, using Dolled Up designer papers from My Mind's Eye. I embossed the background, added stitching, and a bow tied with burlap string. CASE Study-Karola Witczak Week 3

Hello all, it is the third week for our guest muse Karola, her style is so detailed and amazing! I was drawn to the colors and the scalloped edges of her card. I went with making my own flower; I cut the book pages into squares with pinking shears and then rolled them up. I placed them together and the added the scalloped layer and a red button. I let the flower be the main focus of my card and finished it with a sentiemnt. be sure to visit the other muses to see what they have created..these ladies are amazing! iSpy Sketches-Just A Note!

Hi everyone! I am having a great week, I am off from work and preparing for my trip with my good friend Wanda; we are taking the Copic class. I had wanted to get some painting done at my house but it is not going to happen this week. I have it on the calender for the week of the 27th. My dh started on my cabinets for my mini studio...yippie! I am super excited about it and decided to change the entire family room now. I hope to have pictures to share, it is not big, but it will be more organized afterwards. I am sharing a card I made using the iSpy sketch for this week, to play along head over to the iSpy Blog. I have used the Spellbinders Pennants to cut the shape, I then used my pinking shears to make the bottom layers. I only have the regular pennants and not he scalloped. Good morning Mojo fans,this weeks sketch if amazing! I had a blast with it, I made a sympathy card to fill an order from a patron of mine. I made the flower using felt that I purchased from my favorite felt shop on Etsy, Benzie's. I cut the scallops with Spellbinders Nesties and then folded them to make layers and added the whit scalloped center and the button. I opted ton ot distress today and now I wish I had...lol. I adore distressing and stitching, I will make it up next time..*grin*. The sentiment is from the Verve set New Mercies and the background set is from the Bountiful Background set. Good morning, happy mojo Monday to ya! Be sure to check out the list of Purge Hop winners at the end of my post. Some of my friends are at CHA so the list is not complete. I will be updating my list as soon as I know all the winners. It is time for this weeks Mojo Sketch, I have chosen a circle card for this weeks round or square choice. The circle cards are so darling, I am also listing instructions for those who may have missed it. There are several ways you can make your circle card, I like mine to look like a complete circle when I am finished, I use option 1. I have used SU new designer papers and the new stamps and dies from Verve's last release, You can check out those here. I used a doily, bakers twine, and the new SU ruffled ribbon. I have gotten so many wonderful quotes/sayings from Pinterest. I have books and books of quotes/sayings from years and years ago; now I have my visual pin board...luv that! I want to share this quote with you today, it is from this blog..... "Stand for what is right. Even if it means standing alone." Have a great Monday...enjoy!

Circle Card Instructions

I have been asked how I make my circle cards, so I am going to list quick instructions. I am listing two different options, the first option is so your card is a complete circle. The second option is not a complete circle but you do not have to clue two piece together.

OPTION 1
-cut card stock using the largest circle or scalloped circle nesting label
-score one of the circles on Scor Pal on the first mark(1/2 inch mark) this will be the back part of the card
-decorate the top circle
-put glue on the part above the scored part of the bottom circle and adhere the decorated circle to the bottom
-be sure to line up as much as possible so that your card when free standing is straight

OPTION2
-run a piece of folded card stock through the cuttlebug with a small part exposed above the nesting label
-this option makes it so you do not have to glue, it is held together by the piece that is not cut. I hope this helps, if you need anything else please let me know.

Hello friends, welcome! I am sharing this weeks CASE Study card, but I also want to remind you of the mega Purge Hop(blog candy) giveaway that myself and some friends are having....check it out on this post!

I have had a great time this month casing Jen, her style is amazing. I have tried to stay more toward her CAS style when creating. I adore CAS styled cards but usually end up with a more detailed card. I have used bold designer paper for my card leaving a lot of white at the top. I was inspired by the different rows of twine, except I went with designer papers. I did finish it off with bakers twine. Good morning peeps, I am super excited to share my post today. Some of my creating friends and I decided we wanted to offer up some of our less used items to you our readers. "This is a set of dies that I have been wanting to release for some time. We actually had a lot of requests for heart dies with our signature perforated detail, but I couldn't stop there! I thought it would be really fun to add in the fun little arrow as well. When I thought about how I would use this set I saw cute little simple note cards with a neat handwritten font and I just LOVE how this turned out. I envision all kinds of sweet, clean and simple designs letting these cute dies and sweet fonts and sentiments do all the work! I am sharing with you this weeks CASE Study card, I simply luv the design of our muse Jen's card. I kept the cut out style and went with a glittered flower and used green ric rac for the stem. Hi all, it was my first day back to work after the long holiday break....sigh....let just say I am looking forward to my next break....lol. Moving on to my card today, I have some exciting news to share......I will be guesting for The Shabby Tea Room in February, how cool is that? very cool, I think, there challenges are soooo inspiring! If you have not played along, check it out here and join the fun! This week the theme is time flies and something with wings. My interpretation of the theme is take the time to tell others what you are thinking and how much you care.....we need to let others know how much we care about them! Good morning and welcome to the first sketch of 2012, I am super excited about what is in store for the new year! I luv new projects, new ideas, and de-cluttering. There is something cleansing about getting id of stuff, I found this awesome de-clutter calendar on Pinterest. Just click on the link for the entire calendar or each month if you prefer. And speaking of de-cluttering, I will be giving away some of my extras as blog candy a couple of weeks, stay tuned!
Now, onto today's card; I had so much fun creating this bold heart card....I did flip the sketch. I made the glittered heart; using thin scrap cardboard, SU crystal effects, and SU glitter. I sloppy folded the paper that is behind the the main panels, I really like the different look. The gorgeous papers are from Authentique, they are the Uncommon Collection. I have really accumulated lots of papers...wow...there are so many gorgeous packs being released. I am sure to have some papers in my blog giveaway....teehehehe. HI friends, I sure hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday, we had a great weekend and week. It is good to be back this week at CASE Study; we are casing the awesome Amy Sheffer for the last time. I adore her card this week the heart and ruffles get me every time. I have used a red and minty aqua color, luv the color combo soooo much. The heart is cut from the Sizzix Primitive Heart die. I added ruffled ribbon, the doily, stitching to the heart, and a button with burlap string. Be sure to check out the CASE Study DT creations, these are super talented ladies. Hello friends, I have been in the holiday spirit all week, I cannot wait to spend time with family. I am very excited about the gifts I have gotten for everyone. I have made homemade ornaments to give and as well as special packaging. That brings me to the sentiment that i am sharing today, "enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realize they were the BIG things". I try to make every effort to do this, I do seem to get the most joy from smaller things! This sentiment is from the latest Our Daily Bread release, you can get yours here. Hello friends, I am sharing a card I made just for fun. I kept it rather CAS, but did use several different patterns, luv the mix together! I was inspired by the pattern in the plate. Although green is my favorites color; I went with the gorgeous coral and black, so yummy. I have added a crinkled ribbon bow and bakers twine. The sentiment is from the Verve set Making A Statement. I used my SU sqaure punch on one end of the sentiment to give the look of a flag and pinking shears on the other end for a different look. I hope you are having a great week, I have been reminded so much lately..."it is better to give than to receive". I like this quote on giving.....enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs-Sweet Honeycomb

Good morning peeps; this is my second post for the day, be sure to scroll down one to check out my Mojo sketch card for today. This is new stamps from Our Daily Bread; I am so luvin this background stamp and the scripture verse. Be sure to head over and check out all the new images and sentiments from the Our Daily Bread release! I have really distressed this one up, I have used Tim Holtz stain on the sides to give the more weathered look. The sketch is from Unscripted sketches and really works great with the honeycomb background stamp. I finished it off with seam binding and a button....hope you have a super Monday. I will be counting the hours today, if all goes as I plan, I will not be going back to work until Jan. 3....yippee...enjoy!

I adore this weeks sketch, the super talented and sweet Debbie designed this one for us. I really got into spiffin this one up...lol.....I added a bloomer and gemstones. I layered the snowflake and then added a white frilly flower keeping with the inspiration photo; I did use black instead of gold....I am not a big fan of gold. Good morning, I luv Monday's don't you? I must confess, it is because it is time for another Mojo Sketch; be sure to head over the Mojo Monday Blog and check out the DT's amazing creations...these ladies are awesome! I have played along with the color challenge from CR84FN, this is their last challenge of the year so they can spend time with family....thanks for all the great color inspiration ladies! I have used a Verve Plain Jane scripture stamp for my main focus today. I have been wanting to send more cards to those in need, I am really drawn to reaching out to those who need a little lift! I think the Verve scripture stamps are awesome for sending encouragement, you can find lots in the Plain Jane section of the Verve store. Hello friends, I juts luv this inspiration photo from The Shabby Tea Room challenge and thought it worked perfectly with the quote from the Our Daily Bread set Little Things. The new sets released from Our Daily Bread are soooo awesome..I am luvin the quotes and sentiments. I have used a glittered star that I purchased in the Christmas section and added to the seam binding bow. The edges are distressed and I added glass glitter to the edges of the framed panels.
