September Verve Diva Dare-Happy Harvest

Hi friends, today I have the pleasure of hopping along with the Diva Dare Inspiration team..woohoo! I have went with autumnal themed card, not sure if you know.....it's my favorite season! I anticipate the return of Autumn every year, I luv everything about it; the smells, the colors, the decorating, and of course all the eats. I have to share one of my favorite things to indulge in this time of year....a Pumpkin Muffin from Dunkin Donuts, it is the best thing on the planet...lol. Well, onto my card I have used the Verve set Bountiful Harvest. I added a couple corrugated maple leaves above the bow, pretty simple from me today. Hope your day is awesome....enjoy!

Since it is the first of the month, we have started a new "cause" over at the SCS Cards For A Cause Forum. Another card to play along with the Sketchbook Saturday sketch and the W Plus 9 Mood Board, I adore the color combo in the inspiration photo. I used Fresh Cut Florals from W Plus 9 Stamps using the new in colors from SU, sweet color combo! Stayed true to the sketch, keeping it very CAS. I had fun with this sketch and mood board. No stamping on this one, just lots of fun stuff, I used a Prima Zipper Flower as my focal point, I added the polka dots with a Copic marker, luv the look! I added a flag sentiment using Tim Holtz type set letters. Some washi tape and pearls complete my card! Hope you have a great day....enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Well, it was my hope to have a card everyday this week; but I have been suffering from migraines the last three days. I am starting to feel a little better today. I wanted to play along with several challenges, so I will have to play catch up this weekend! I have used the sweet CAS sketch from Seize The Sketch. Mojo Monday/MOJO308-Let Go and Let God

Good morning friends, it is circle or square week at Mojo Monday, I went with the sweet circle card. I also played along with the Dynamic Duos colors, gorgeous combo! I have embossed and sanded the deep coral piece of card stock. I added the sentiment from the Verve set Let It Be; this is an awesome encouraging sentiment set. I used the Cut Above Verve Die called Mini Bookplate, a super cute shape! I have added a collage of flower embellies with an nostalgic carnival ticket. That is all from me today, I should be posting daily this week. I am home from work so I will be creating everyday...woohoo...enjoy!

Mojo Monday/MOJO307-Faith Can Move Mountians

Good morning peeps, I am sharing this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and I have used the sweet colors from Dynamic Duos. I just thought about the embossing option, shucks, I forgot; I would have added that too...teeehehe. Any who, I luv how my card turned out, I did not use the large triangles, I really struggle with those angels. I did use sweet glittery photo corners, they are hard to see but are very cute. I have used the sentiment from the Verve set Let It Be. I also used the sweet(and my favorite) Verve Banner Bundle Dies...I luv these! You can layer them, cut them to make them shorter, and they are perfect for using them in a square fashion...cute, cute, cute! I cannot wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch, it is open for interpretation...enjoy!

Good morning, I am sharing a fun card I created for a couple of challenges. I was not going to go with a carnival theme and just use the colors; but I had this sweet SU set that I had never inked up, so the carnival theme won out...lol. I do luv this SU set, it is so nostalgic and fun; it reminds me of the "good ole days". I had to play along with My Craft Spot, I totally adore these colors....they are so me...lol. Of course I went through my designer paper stash and started pulling all sorts of gorgeous designs out. I added a paper flower and some canvas flowers that I inked up. An older MME sticker sentiment, that is perfect for these colors...delightful A seam binding bow, some distressing, curled corners and this card is complete. Hope you have a super weekend...enjoy!

A quick card to share playing along with a couple of challenges. I could not miss the opportunity to share a fall card...not sure if you know...but I luv the fall! I have used a pre printed tag that I purchased from one of my favorite Etsy Shops, Creative Visions. Stop by and see all the gorgeous tags she has to offer. I used Tim Holtz words for my sentiment, wrinkled them up a bit, and I added a piece of Tim Holtz washi tape down the side. The washi tape is goods, manufactures, and vintage company prints...perfect! I hope you have a wonderful Friday...enjoy!

A quick card sharing my take on the Atlantic Hearts sketch and the color challenge from SCS yesterday. I have used fabric flowers that I stained with Tim Holtz Distressed stain. A mix of sweet patterned papers and the verve sentiment pull this card together. The sentiment is from the Verve set Let It Be; this is from the latest release. I have used the Verve Plain Jane Plasm 63:3-4. I also used the Cut Above Banner Bundle Dies by Verve, I adore these sweet banners, they are the perfect size and great for layering like I did today. I have added various sequins, washi tape strips, a little lace trim, and seam binding bow.
