good morning, I hope you have a great day! I am super excited about Thanksgiving, I cook every year and I luv it! We enjoy our family time and eating leftovers...yummo! I have used the gorgeous poppy set from Technique Tuesday for my card today, I luv these poppies; fits on this tag from casual fridays perfectly. I colored with zig clean color water makers, I luv using my zig markers! I can't wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

It is time for another fun and fabulous challenge from sunday stamps, if you have not played along with us I hope you will join us this week for an awesome sketch! Have you heard of concord & 9th? Well, let me tell you they have some pretty amazing stamp sets and super trendy designs....I luv their stamps and dies! The stamps are from concord & 9th, it is called being classy; I just luv the name of this set. kindness is classy, I hope you are spreading some today! I  have used a crackle stencil for the background and applied embossing paste, some watercoloring and sponging  on the border for a more distressed look. I played along with card concept too. skipping stones november tip/technique hop

good morning and welcome to the weekend, I cannot get over how fast the days pass, we are twelve days from Thanksgiving, in case you needed a reminder. I am doing my grocery shopping for Thanksgiving today super, super early. The skipping stones designs team is sharing the monthly tip/technique hop with you, be sure to stop by all the blogs and comment you could win a free stamp set. I am sharing a super simple tip today, I put all of my pretty pink posh sequins in a cute little jar just so I could see the pretties! They sit on my desk for me to see...luv! The other AMAZING thing I want to share is the INCREDIBLE precision tip that fits on the small glossy accents bottle, for a never clogging and fine tip...I luv this applicator! You can get yours here, I take the tip off of the bottle and screw it onto the glossy accents and it works perfectly! I do not use the empty bottle as of yet. I have used the sweet set called Christmas Swirls. I used two different watercolor inks to create the fun star and then I covered it with stickles.  I hope you enjoy your weekend and the hop!  Have you sen the sweet stamp and die sets from Hero Arts? They are precious, I need all of them....teehehehe. The merry is a cute die that comes in the set with these adorable stars and other sentients....tooo cuuute! I have used the awesome sketch and colors from the challenges listed below. I have used a one of the new Verve sets, check out the latest release here! I used a couple of the different flower dies from Verve to create the sweet layered flowers. I watercolored the banner with the smashing technique, luv how this looks! I then used my new etched misti to stamp the scripture several times to get a good coverage. The addition of gold really makes it pop against the black, very bold; but a pretty color combo! Add a little glimmer to your life.....sparkle & shine!

Sharing a sweet little number I created using the amazing and fun stamp set from right at home, have you heard of them? Hurry over to the blog and check out the sweet sets Nicole is designing....luv! This set is sooo fun, I stamped the christmas tree twice to give it a sketched look...I luv how it tunred out! I then watercolored it with my zig clean color markers....so fun and then stamped polka dots all over...eeeccckkkkk...I luv polka dots, they make me very happy! I then colored over the polka dots with a glitter pen(cannot find me wink of stella pen...gggrrr...I will be getting another one...*grin*) I will be using these colors a lot for christmas cards, they are our colors this year for christmas. I created a regular thank you that I can use anytime through out the year, it makes me real happy to use embossing paste and ink splatter....now that 's the fun stuff! I used a creative edged paste scrapper for the heavy rippled embossing streaks, I luv the look. I added tim holtz black soot ink splatter, I can't wait to get the new tim holtz distress splatter brush, mine is on it's way.....YAY! I used the adorable simon says stamp sparkle & shine stamp set for the random polka dots...luv my polka dots...fun, fun! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!
