a quick card playing along with a couple of challenges, I have found playing with challenges is a great way to add to my card stash. I have use the awesome verse from reverse confetti set god is good. I have use patterned papers which I luv, I luv using watercolor backgrounds and paints but I adore patterned paper too. A gorgoeus silver heart from tim holtz glitter paper and a few enamel dots. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

A quick card playing along with match this sketch and today's scs inspiration challenge. I have all hearts on my mind, so I did not go with a winter theme. I did however go with the gorgeous photo, I so luv the pale blue background...sold me! A little pink/red and the black and white from the sweet bird. The stunning scribble heart is from simon says stamp latest release, you have my heart. The sentiment is from the winnie & walter set big, bold and comfort. Hello and welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, I luv Wednesdays; sure hope you do too! We are challenging you to "new" something. The team is using products from wplus9, such gorgeous flower stamps!

I have used the gorgeous watercolor anemones flowers for my card today, I used tim holtz distress markers for the flowers. I colored directly unto the stamp and then stamped it and blended with a paint brush and water. I then added stickles to the centers for a little shimmer...luv! My new is the new stamp set, but also a new outlook...you can take it anyway you want. There is always something we can change to be a better person, have a better attitude, or to help others. I have taken the #onelittleword challenge this year...I did not sign up but I am want to incorporate the word shine into my life to expereince growth. If you stop by often you know I adore gems, glitter, bling, sparkle, glimmer, and shine; but the word spoke louder than those things to me. You may or may not know that I am a deep thinker. It is not so I can shine but the things I do shine light, clearness or even like a flashlight for others. shine-to give forth light, to be bright reflected light, glisten; sparkle. to appear with clearness, as feelings. to cause to shine, reflected light. come rain or shine...choose sunshine! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness.

Welcome back, the mojo monday sketches are on again...YAY! I have missed the sketches, have you? I have used the Verve stamp set on occasion, paired with a gold glittery wood "happy" chipboard piece. I used gold ink splatter and some twine, some gold stickles and washi tape. This card has been delivered to a good friend of mine! Hello and welcome to the last Wednesday of 2015, can you believe it? I really do not know where the time goes. This week the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge team is going to party, yep; we are starting early. What fun it was to create this card, I luv so much getting in my little studio and throwin some ink around...lol. I luv ink splatter and gems, enamel dots, and glitter...sounds like a party to me! I used the fun gold polka dotted paper from kaisercraft called a touch of gold...luv this pack of paper! I heat embossed the balloons and sentiment, aded the gold glitter...so fun. hello peeps...for me it is time to break out the reds, pink, fuchsias, and corals.....I soooo luv making heart/love cards! Yes, it is my favorite. I am a romantic at heart and love all that goes with love...there really is nothing greater! When I saw the runway inspired challenge I new I would gravitate toward a romantic feel...I was inspired by all the red with the white pattern, hence the wendy vecchi white paste embossed corner. I have used the gorgeous altenew flower set called painted flowers. A little lawn fawn twine bow...luv the texture of this twine...it is perfect for a little substance. I adore the size too, just perfect...I think I need them all....teehehehe. This is a gorgeous red and white with a little shine called red sparkle! And you know how I feel about sparkle...*grin*. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

A card for a couple of challenges, having fun just creating! I have used the reverse confetti set, god is good...a very encouraging set. I did a little ink smashing, add the tag; it is also reverse confetti...thanks tag set. The fun heart die is from simon says stamp's new release, it is scribble heart and arrow dies. The twine is from lawn fawn sky, my first time trying it..I luv it, it is a great texture! update from google friend connect

hey friends, I have a little update to share concerning google friend connect. I had noticed I lost a lot of followers over night and could not figure out why....I was hoping it wasn't me or my boring posts....lol. Now I know, thanks to Gloria's blog post....thanks Gloria for sharing! If you are currently not signed on to google connect, consider doing so to be able to comment and follow your favorite blogs. You can read and comment on the blogger buzz.

An update on Google Friend Connect

In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

have a merry heart

a sweet gold, black and white cas card for the merry challenge over at casogoly. I luv the word merry and knew I wanted to play but didn't want to make a christmas card. I had this fun heart from concord & 9th on my desk already so I paired it with the black and white tag; I came up with the sentiment "have a merry heart"..I like it, a lot! The heart is from the set tree hugs and the have a is from the paper smooches set crystal clear. I am enjoying my time in the studio and cannot wait to create this coming week.....fun, fun!
