Mojo Monday Sketch-Bright
Good mojo Monday morning peeps, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a fun Black Friday weekend. We had a great time with my dh's daughter and family, e did a little roller skating. Yes, you heard me right roller skating, the dh and his daughter are really good....me so so...lol. I am sharing this weeks Mojo Sketch card, it is circle or square week. I have chosen a circle card, these are so sweet; you can add them to a briefcase, purse, or lunch box for an added show of love to your favorite person. I will add this to a special gift this year. I used the new Verve set Bright Spirits, sponged the snowflake and added a gemstone. I finished it with the seam binding, button, and lace trim. Have a wonderful day...enjoy!

Happy Sunday, I am sharing a card I created to play along in a few challenges. I needed a card for a friend of the family who is sick, I hope this brings some cheer. I have used a scripture stamp from Verve, it is from the set New Mercies. This set is full of great sentiments, leaves, and flowers. Speaking of Verve, they are having a sale through today, so be sure to pick up some great sets for yourself or a Christmas gift. I have used the vintage papers from Crate Paper, called Portrait Collection. I used seam binding for a bow and added a button, distressing, stitching, and cut the ends of the long strips with pinking shears. Well, it is back to work tomorrow for a week or two and then the dh and I will be off again...that is the week we Christmas shop...woohoo. Have a great evening....enjoy!

Verve Diva Dare November-Day 4
I have created gift wrapping tags for Christmas for my Verve Diva Dare Challenge creation. For those of you that are new to this challenge, here is how it works...following each release, we will post a theme that we dare you with, and you'll have two weeks to complete the challenge. During those two weeks, the release team will post their creations and tell you how they answered the dare!
This month's theme is A Handmade Christmas! The theme is pretty broad and can be interpreted in so many different ways...from a lovingly made card, to heartfelt gifts and homemade decorations! With the Holidays right around the corner, this will be the perfect time to get a jump start on your card and gift making!
I answered the dare with Christmas tags to add to my special Christmas gift wrapping this year. Half the fun for me is the wrapping, I am using kraft paper, with red, and creams. The to:/from: is from the O Christmas Tree set. I have used stitching, buttons, and my beloved glass glitter. The snowflakes are from the Glad Tidings set and I used the new Snowflake Tidings Die set to cut the snowflakes. I cannot wait to see what you create! Be sure to link it up here, there is Verve to be won! Be sure to head to the Verve blog and see all the Diva Dare creations and leave some luv, you could win Verve that way too!
I have played along with some other challenges as well, for the tags I used Chupa's sketch and flipped it....so sweet!

Our Daily Bread Designs Blessings To You
Hello friends, I am sharing a card made with Our Daily Bread design new release stamps. This set coordinates with the Spellbinders Ornament 2 Dies, it is called Ornaments 2 and has an adorable Christmas tree too. These ornaments are so pretty, I have kept my card CAS and just added a few gemstones and some glass glitter on the edges of the main panel. The sentiment reads "Blessings to you as you celebrate this sacred season!" so fitting for the Christmas season. I have played along with the Unscripted sketch challenge, I have not had time to join these ladies in awhile so it was fun to play along. I am counting the days until Friday, the dh and I have next week off and have some shopping planned as well as some family time. I hope you have a super week, head over to Our Daily Bread and check out the awesome scripture stamps they have....I am headed there myself to take a peek. Have a wonderful week.....I am sharing a Christmas quote with you...enjoy!

Verve Get Your Diva On-Celebrate The Season
Good morning, I am thrilled to be sharing this Christmas gift set with you. I am bringing to you the last Get Your Diva On Challenge for 2011, it has been an awesome year! Thank you for your continued support of Verve stamps and the amazing challenges we share with you all year long. My challenge is broad, it is for Christmas and it is called Celebrate The Season. I want you to be inspired by the Christmas tree; what goes on it, under it, or the inspiration photo provided. Make an ornament, make a gift, gift wrapping, gift card holder or a card to send at Christmas. The inspiration photo is attached....I cannot wait to see what you create!
Head over to the SCS Get Your Diva On thread and get all the details and link up your card....The winner of the challenge (chosen by Julee) will get a $100 Gift Certificate for the Verve Store!
I am enjoying Pinterest and getting so many great ideas for the home and gift giving. I saw where you fill up a Pringle can with cookies and thought it would be better in a coffee can because you can get your hand all the way in without crumbling the cookies. So that is what I have done, I took a coffee can and covered it with gorgeous papers and the sweet Marquee Die and stamps by Verve. Hope you have a great start to your week....enjoy!
