Thanks So Much

Happy Saturday...I sure hope you have had a wonderful day!  I have created this cute 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 sqaure card for several challenges...I adore the Shabby Tea Room inspiration photos....yummy cupcakes!  I am still wanting to make homemade strawberry cupcakes and this photo has me more in the mood.....*grin*  I have been wanting to make one of those amazing loopy felt flowers that Tosh has been teasing us with...lol.  You can get the instruction over at SCS here.  I used the colors from The Color Throwdown color challenge, I adore these together...it is fun and cheery!  All of this inspiration has brought my little loopy flower square card together.  My dh and I have so much to be thankful for and we don't ever want to take that lightly.  I will leave you with this amazing quote of gratitude...I luv it...there is so much truth in it......enjoy!

Ace Of Cakes Inspired Card-Praise God

Hi friends, I have a quick challenge card to share....I need a manly card for a fellow in our church who was in a horrible truck accident.  He is going to be ok, it could have been much, much worse, so we are praising God for the miracle.  I used Tim Holtz stamps to make this collage on the tag shape and then I added the Verve sentiment using A Cut Above Verve Dies to frame it.  The sentiment is from the new set Faithful Phrases.  I also used a cake from today's IC280 as my inspiration, you can see it here.  Have a super Saturday evening, we have nothing bad rain today, some ares 3 or 4 inches.....we are ready for sunshine......enjoy!

Hope-Verve Stamps

Hi, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far.....we plan on taking a little motorcycle ride tomorrow...woohoo.  I am thrilled to have the next week off....I will be creating and I will be getting some cleaning and organizing done too.  I am sharing a square card with you tonight, I used the Verve set Bountiful Background behind the main sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Forever In Our Hearts.  I have played along with several more new challenge(new to me).  You can get an awesome list of the daily challenges here. I used stitching, distressing, and made a fabric flower to bring my card all together.  Thanks so much for your continued support and comments, they really make my day and put a smile on my face...enjoy!

Heartfelt Thanks

To comment on my Verve release cards you will have to scroll down several posts..sorry, this has been a busy week.
Good morning, I am sharing with you this morning a card made with a newer Justrite stamp set called In The Moonlight.  I stamped the darling frame in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then stamped the sentiment inside.  This shape is perfect for the Labels Fourteen Nesties....perfection!    I used the colors from the Color Q Challenge, CQC66.  I started with the polka dotted piece from the October Afternoon Schoolhouse paper pack, it matches perfectly!  I added a piece of Cosmo Cricket paper and sanded it slightly.  I used the My Favorite Things Open Scallop Die for the border, added sweet pom pom trim.  I then finished my card with crinkled ribbon, a pinkpaislee ticket with a gorgeous gemstone on top.  I used the sketch from Inspirational Sketches #96.  I hope you have a great Friday...enjoy!

Sweetly Thinking Of You

Good morning, these are the cutest displayed cupcakes, I was drawn to the fun, big flower.  This is for today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC52 There is so much about these cupcakes to get your inspiration flowing, I hope you play along with us!  My card recipe is using the darling paper from Basicgrey and it is called Green At Heart.  It is so pretty, the colors are luscious.  I used two different punches, I really like the look of the layered borders.  The purple layer is using a EK Success border punch and the orange layer is using the Fiskars border punch.  I used the ProvoCraft Argyle embossing folder on the top portion of my card.  I finished my card with ribbon tied with a button and the cute butterflies.  I added Stickles to the butterflies for a little glimmer.  I used the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches #59 and the glitter challenge at Stampin Royalty, SR12.  I hope you will play along with us this week, it is always fun to be inspired by yummy cupcakes.  Enjoy!
Be sure to check out the other sweeties ceations to get you inspired!
