hello friends! this is a super fun sketch this week designed by the amazing jen timko...I luv it! I have used the reverse confetti heart cover up die and then put b&w striped designer paper behind. A few ink splatters and some enamel dots to complete my card. I also played along with just add ink to use a "h", ofcourse I went with hearts...*grin*. hi friends, it is time for another amazing freshly made sketch....I am luvin playing along with these gals and the amazing sketches! I have used a bit of a watercolor splash background and then sponged the sweet flower shape over top of the watercolor. The sentiment is a simple stories sentiment sticker. I have used my favorite colors and a few taylored expressions sequins...fun sketch! Be sure to stop by the other gals blogs and see what they have created!

freshly made sketches/fms324 - me & you, love always

hi friends, I thought this weeks freshly made sketch would be perfect for the hubbys valentine card. I added a bit of a watercolor background and then starting adding elements that I have in a little stash box. well, actually I have several little stash boxes; one for valentines/love, one for christmas, flowers, leaves, hearts, stars, sentiments, and the list goes on and on. I save the leftovers from making other cards so that I can piece them together later for a fun card, I luv doing this! I added a few gold enamels hearts and dots and luv how it turned out! hello peeps, I am sharing my take on this weeks freshly made sketch...I am luvin playing with gals every week. I hope you are joining us for the fun! I decided to use scraps from my little catch tin and found some really sweet watercolors I had tossed in there at other times. I paired four fun bright colors together and then layered on top of black and white polka dots..what is not to luv? The hello sentiment is from a carte bella stamps set called simply stated. freshly made sketches/fms321 - every little thing

hello fine people, it is my second week guesting with freshly made sketches and I am having a blast...have always luv'd the freshly made sketches! This weeks simple sketch brought to us by jennifer brum, I luv it! I used a piece of black and white striped designer paper for the background and then added soem sweet lawn fawn fab flowers. I have been using a different way of faux watercoloring and I luv it. I stamp the images first and then spritz with water after stamping, the outcome is so pretty. The sentiment is from a simon says stamp set called uplifting thoughts. freshly made sketches/fms320 - thinking of you

eeeppp...I have a secret...I have been asked to be a guest for the freshly made sketches team...YAY! I cannot not be happier to be joining these ladies for a bit, you know I luv sketches and freshly made sketches are happening! I sure hope you will play along with us this week, just look at that sketch, it is a heart in it...squuueal..now you to not have to use a heart, but you know me..pitter patter. This weeks amazing sketch is designed by kim singdahlsen. I have created a little watercolor splash background and then I added an adorable little gc bag made with the sweet die from the stamp market called gift for you stamp and cut bundle. I stamped it with a few polka dots; so fun and then layered with a patterned paper heart cut from the lil' inker stitched heart die. A tag sentiment from pebbles and a few soft pink enamel dots. what fun I add with this little number...the inspiration photo from the card concept is right up my alley...luvin all those nuetrals! the sweet flowers are from the w plus 9 stamp set called southern summer florals 2, the leaves are from my little stash box. I have added embossing paste, sequins, and burlap twine keeping with the neutral look! the gorgoeus script sentiment is from the simon says stamp brush stoke messages...luv this script! hope you have a wonderful fall week!

Playing with my new concord & 9th stamp set called, hope....what an amazing set..the flowers are stunning! I used a little embossing paste for the card base and then watercolored the background. I am luvin this shade of pink card stock, it is from simon says stamp and it is called doll pink. The flowers are stamped with altenew inks...luv these inks and there are twelve new colors that just debuted! hope you have a wonderful weekend!

super excited about these sweet wplus 9 flowers, you can get both sets over at the simon says stamp store. I have used the southern summer florals set 1, there is also another gorgoeus set that coordinates called southern summer florals set 2. I have used altenew inks for the flowers. I used a echo park stencil, some twine, and clear sequins. A super fun card to create, I have played along with a few challenges listed below.

Had to play along with a couple of challenges, I adore the inspiration photo from card concept, I was inspired by the colors and patterns. Went with a little watercolored background, using daniel smith watercolor paints. I aslo used a stencil to add embossing paste, the design reminds me of the pattern in the chairs. The stars are die cut from the awesome paper smooches star dies, this set of dies is one of my favorites, there are lots of layers and sizes. The chipboard sentiment is from a tim holtz quote sentiments, luv these too! I added a few eneamel dots and a twine bow...had a blast creating this card. I also used the fun layered sketch from freshly mades sketches.

today is a good day to smile

I have used the super sweet simon says stamp set that is in the june card kit, called floral bliss....such a gorgeous flower stamp and the sweet add on flowers are adorable too! I have used a notebook die from paper smooches called notebook basic. I colored the sweet flowers and leaves with zig markers and then added a few hero arts clear gems...I am luvin this color combo..thanks color throwdown!

I am playing along with a couple of fun challenges, the color throwdown has spring colors to work with and the freshly made sketches has a super fun sketch to use! I have used a stamp from the stamp market, have I told you how much I luv their stamps? Well, I do...they are stunning designs and super cool sentiments and fonts! I have used the hello stamp set and bundle for my card today...luv the flowers! I used tim holtz distress inks and a little stickles on top of the flowers...super sweet! live colorfully

I have a sweet little card to share today using the awesoem flower set from ink blot shop....they have the cutest sets. Perfect for planners, journals, bible journaling, and of course cards! I have used the adorable flower set called floral frenzy, the possibilities are endless with this set! I adore those tiny heart weeds...so cute..I could not help but pair this with polka dots; b&w none the less. I aslo added several little white polka dots to the flower using a white gel pen. Hope your fri-YAY is great, the hubs and I have another unexpected day off, we are headed to lowes...planning a few fixer upper projects...the weather here has been AMAZING!

be mine always

A quick valentine card for my hubby, using my new stamps from the stamp market...luv this new company! I used the background heart stamp to make a make a subtle heart background and then I used the heart die and cut out the heart shape with watercolor paper. I then sponged tim holtz inks around it. The sentiment is from a carta bella stamp and the sweet little add on sticker phrases are crate paper. I added some striped bakers twine and a couple of grey gemstones. Have a super sunday!

Had to play along with a few sweet challenges. totally luv the color combo from stampin royalty....super awesome for red flowers. I adore this set from reverse confetti, one of my all time favorite flower sets.... blooms n buds. I know, I know; I have a lot of all time favorites....I do really...if I say it is a favorite it really is! The sentiment is mama elephant, blessed set. The watercolor background is prima watercolor confection pans....my favorite...teehehehe. happy weekend my friends!

A one layer card for me today using the colors from sunday stamps and the sketch from freshly made sketches and kept it super CAS. I have used the gorgeous flower from the concord & 9th set called you are enough. I have used prima confection watercolors for the background and tim holtz distress inks. Adding more thank you cards to my stash, actually I need a lot of varieties added to my stash. I sure hope you have a happy new year and have lots of things on your agenda....I know I luv new beginnings and look forward to what the newness has to offer!
