hi friends, it is the first friday of a new month and that means we have a viva la verve sketch to share with you. I have went with a bold watercolor background using some of the gorgeous daniel smith watercolors...these paints are amazing! I have used the verve stamp set called kindness matters and the rectangle die from the a cut above falling leaves die set. The leaves are from the a cut above great kindess die set. I hope you make time to play along with this months sketch!

viva la verve/april - you've been on my heart

hello verve friends, we are sharing the new viva la verve sketch for april and a few peeks at a new release starting tomorrow. you can shop the new release here now. I have created a watercolor background using avery elle liquid watercolors and then added a layer of checkered embossing paste. the butterfly shape is a new verve die and the awesome sentiment if from the new set hope lifts. I have added clear sequins and some twine. I hope you will join us and play along!

viva la verve/march sketch - birthday wishes

happy friday friends, it has been an awesome week...I was off from work unexpectedly(mechanical issues at work) and have enjoyed every minute of it! I am playing along with the viva la verve sketch for march, yes; I said march...just where is this year going? I have used the verve stamps set called butterfly grace and beautiful things.  I added polka dots to the butterflies for a little something extra..using purple and aqua color combo and a bit of b&w striped designer paper. I hope you join us for the fun sketch this month, so many possibilities! happy friday peeps!

viva la verve/january sketch - cast your cares on the Lord

hello first friday of 2018....you look awesome! looking forward to many more meetings like this one..off for a long weekend...lol. we have an amazing viva la verve sketch to share with you, don't ya luv it? I have used the verve set called scripture melody, this is a great set to have for lots of occasions. I used a watercolor splash for the background and then added black ink splatter. Stamped the scripture with my mini misti to get rich black coverage. I added a few flowers that I had in my stash from various companies. I can't wait to see what you create!

viva la verve november sketch - happy birthday

happy november, can believe it? we are at the end of the year, thanksgiving and christmas are right around the corner. It is time for another fun viva la verve sketch for you to use this month. I have used the sweet verve set called, bloom brighter. I used tim holtz distress inks and spritzed the image with water after stamping for a more subtle watercolor look. I really luv the flower turned out. Have fun with this months sketch, I hope to get a chance to play with this one again!

hello friends and yes, you are seeing and reading this correct....julee has brought back viva la verve sketches! I am thrilled since we no longer have mojo monday's...YAY! I have used the sweet sentiment from the kindness matters set from verve stamps. The sweet flower is from the set called good work. I have watercolored the flower using zig markers and created a watercolor splash to the background. The gorgeous colors inspiration photo is this months cards for a cause OPTIONAL challenge. The end of spring always brings a touch of wanderlust.  This collection of bracelets has me wishing for a sun drenched road trip filled with gypsy wonder and delight. There's no script for this inspiration... channel your inner gypsy, go floral, follow our color pattern or forge your own path. We can't wait to see what you create! I simply adore the gorgoeus photo, the array of mixed bracelets had me wanting to use a variety of designer papers and goodies. I watercolored the flowers from the Verve set, Good Work. The leaves are die cut from the a cut above verve dies elegant leaves dies and sprightly sprigs.

Verve's October Diva Dare

Be sure to stop by the Verve Blog and play along with this month's Pink Power Diva Dare! I have used the Inspire Hope Verve stamp set and also played along with today's Viva la Verve, a great way top combine those challenges! I adore the entire release this month, I reach for the Inspire Hope the most, I adore the sweet leaf bracket with the option of adding the different flowers. If you have not seen the Pink Power(temporarily sold out) set, it is a must have too...the bald silhouette image is soooo inspiring! I have used the Verve set Treasured Words and the Jotted Heart Die, luv, luv, luv these colors....sweeeeet! I have embossed the heart and then added some Mister Huey's ink splatter.
