merry christmas

a super CAS card for a couple of challenges, I used the mini christmas set from simon says stamp called holiday hellos.  I used simon silver embossing powder to emboss the "christmas", really pretty IRL.  I die cut the snowflake using TH silver glittery paper, the snowflake is called maryanne, sooo cute! I then used red and white twine...twine makes everything sweeter...teehehehe.

hello all, I am playing along with a couple of fun challenges...I adore the texture of the pillows and colors from the challenge inspiration photo. I have used the concord and 9th floral and flutter die, this is such a fun die to use. The scripty hello die is from lawn fawn. Silver wendy vecchi embossing paste with the tim holtz burlap stencil for the background texture.  I always enjoy adding texture...fun!

deepest sympathy

I am in need of replenishing my stash of sympathy cards and have been playing along with several challenges in order to motivate myself to get them completed. I have used a prima stencil and tim holtz stain for the look if the tile. I also used a gold tim holtz stain on the butterflies and then added a few black gems. I few gemstones on the tag, ribbon complete my card.

WOW....I am so excited to be guesting for the challenge this week....check out the gorgeous inspiration photo we are workng with. Two of my favorite things, color and hearts....eeeccckkk. I decided to watercolor a variety of hearts in roygbiv colors and of course I added a few clear gemstones and placed them randomly on the card. The stitched heart dies are lil'inker....soooo sweet! The sentiment and twine complete my card. I cannot wait to see what you create.

oh WOW, did I have fun with this card.....YES! I am luvin the sweet inspiration photo from the challenge...the gold accents made my heart skip a beat...*grin*. I added gold watercolor stripping using the gold paints from finetec mica....luv these, they are super easy to use! I have used the amazing flower set from simon says stamp with wplus9...luv how easy it is to get a watercoloring look with these stamps. Lots of gold, black, and pinks...a sweet combo! mojo monday/mojo440-spring day

good morning, I am so excited to start this week; I am off from work for Easter break starting friday through monday...YAY! I have been working lots of OT and need the time off, want to get a little spring cleaning done. Well, onto today's mojo monday sketch, it is a fun layered sketch, but I kept mine more simple due to time. I also used the colors from the challenge, what a stunning color combo! hello friends, I have used some old SU felt flowers...actually surprised I still have them...lol. They are super duper cute, so I hung on to them....I adore the sweet color combo from the color throwdown, so I played along with them. The sketch I kept at an A2 size, I usually do not make square cards. I used some time holtz distress ink, embossing paste, bakers twine and the sweet flowers. I used a plain jane from Verve stamps for the birthday sentiment. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

a quick card playing along with a couple of challenges, I have found playing with challenges is a great way to add to my card stash. I have use the awesome verse from reverse confetti set god is good. I have use patterned papers which I luv, I luv using watercolor backgrounds and paints but I adore patterned paper too. A gorgoeus silver heart from tim holtz glitter paper and a few enamel dots. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!
