Hello friends, I am sharing this weeks gorgeous Curtain Call color combo....very rich looking, don't ya think?  I kept it rather simple, but I really like the way my card turned out.  I did add that fabulous glass glitter again; yes, I'm hooked on it!  I wanted to play along with the Dirty Dozen Sketch Challenge and there "well read" theme challenge.
I luv quotes and short poems, I have books full of them and used one of the quotes for my inspiration.  It is......Love is like a butterfly:  It goes where it pleases and it pleases wherever it goes.  ~Author Unknown

TAG Your It

I luv tags...OCC is having a Tag Challenge, if it is about tags, count me in....lol....I just luv making these little babies!  I made these tags using different dies, Verve Stamps, SU, PTI, and the gorgeous papers from K & Company called Yuletide.  I used the yummy color combo of  green, pink, and red.  The snowflakes and a star where inspired by this photo from today's IC260.  I have made a couple of sets, so these are in my Etsy store if you are interested.  I will see you back here later tonight with my last creation with the Curtain Call DT, the new DT will start next week.  Have a super evening, you know  tags can be used as Christmas ornaments too!  Enjoy *~*

Merry & Bright

Hi friends, I hope you are ready for the Thanksgiving day feast, I know I am....yummy.  As I look back on this year I have so much to be thankful for, it has been a rough year but there where so many blessings too!  I hope that you will take time to reflect on the past year and give thanks.  Onto today's creation, I rarely get the chance to play with the SCS challenges anymore.  But for my card today I combined two challenges, the color and sketch challenge.  I used the gorgeous JustRite stamp set called Christmas Treasure and a tresure it is for sure.  The cherry cobbler colored scrolled circle is stunning, I luv it and all the other stamps in the set are fabulous too, you got to check it out!  I punched out the snowflake and the adorned it with the chunky vintage glass glitter(I luv this glitter) using glossy accents by Ranger.  I also used a little Frayed Burlap Ink by Tim Holtz for the worn look.  I made my sentiment a tag, there I go again with the tags.....I can't help it, I luv the look!  I hope you have a blessed day...you are the best...enjoy!

JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop 11

Welcome to the 11th week of JustRite Stampers’  Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops!  Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE.  This week, the designers joining the JustRite design team are the Stampers Dream design team and a few other special guests!
For the month of November, we thought we would switch gears a little and throw in some holiday gift ideas using your JustRite stamps, so be watching for those, too, on November’s hops!
I made a gift box full of tags, I used the Tag Box tutorial from SCS shown here.  I did not put the dividers in mine, I want to make larger tags.  I used the new cling mounted JustRite set called Sparky the Snowman,  the mitten is perfect for making tags.  I heat embossed my mittens onto designer paper using Judikins embossing powder.  I then heat embossed the snowflake and attached the sentiment tag.

Here is a look at all of the tags, the box hold six tags.

Here is a close up of the tag, I also added stickles to the ends of the mitten, very cute in polka dots, don't ya think?

Please visit these designers’ blogs to see what fabulous JustRite Christmas inspiration they have for you on the hop today!

Good morning, it is mojo time and Julee has put together another great sketch.  I used the new Verve release set Glad Tidings, these snowflakes are so lovely!  I heat embossed the snowflake and added a little stickles and a gem to the center.  I also heat embossed the sentiment, folded it, scrunched it, and added sponging....luv this look.  I also luv this silky ruffled ribbon, I should have bought more.  I purchased it at Hobby Lobby when I was in PA.  I used at sparkler from Webster's Pages to the center of my bow.  Be sure to check out the other mojo makers creations over at the Mojo Monday Blog.  I used The Color Throwdown Colors, CTD118.  Have a super start to your week,  I have the holidays on my mind with each passing day...lol.  The celebrations are right around the corner, that means lots of great food and great times...I am excited!  Enjoy.

Beauty & Joy

I wanted to share this card as I played along with today's FS197, Angela....check out her amazing gallery!  I have not been able to play along with the FS in a long while, it is one of my favorites of the week at SCS.  It is fun and exciting to highlight a stamper, lots of times it is  someone I have never discovered...check it out!  I chose her card here to case, changing the stamps, colors, and adding lace trim and twine.  I added distressing, sponging, and stitching.  The stamps are Verve and the designer paper is Webster's  Pages.

Richly Blessed

Hi peeps, I have a card to share using the newly released Verve stamps.  Have you gotten your new Verve stamps, yet?  I sure hope so, it is time to get busy making Christmas cards.  I used Amber's Viva la Verve sketch with this gorgeous inspiration photo.  I did tweak the sketch a bit, I know "no ovals"  I use them rarely; they are not a favorite shape of mine.  I used the designer paper from K & Company called Yuletide....luv this pack of paper...yummy.  I used punched snowflakes and sprinkled them with glass glitter.  The ribbon is that lush cherry cobbler SU ribbon...I luv it!  I hope you will make time to play along with the Viva la Verve sketches, you can get the details here.

Merry Christmas Mittens

Good morning, I am happy to tell you about the new JustRite Cling Mounted stamps; they are sooooo fabulous!  I luv this idea, there is a great storage box for keeping all of the stamps neatly together.  I have used the cute mitten stamp from the set Sparky & Friends.
I used the sweet designer paper from My Mind's Eye called I Believe, I adore this color combo.  It is a deep red, soft sky, and chocolate.......yummy!  I have heat embossed the mittens and added vintage glass glitter to the cuff and the center of the snowflake.  I used Nesties Labels Eleven for the main shape that the mittens are adhered to and added sponging.  I also added stitching, distressing, and the tag sentiment that is attached with a chipboard snowflake(these where given to me by a friend).  I also showed you a peek of the inside of my card, I usually finish the insides off as well; but very rarely share....shame on me....lol.  The sketch is from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch, MTSC98.  I hope you like my mitten Christmas card and I wish you a week filled with lots of love and laughter!  Enjoy.

Mojo Monday Sketch-Christmas Blessings

Good morning it is time for another mojo sketch, Mojo163; this weeks sketch is fabulous for showing off some great designer paper.  I used Memory Box designer paper that has cute red Christmas birds on it, Mistletoe.  I heat embossed the vintage "Christmas Blessings" sentiment, it is from the new Verve release.  I flipped the sketch to suit this fabulous sentiment, I luv the script!  I added SU cherry cobbler ribbon, a piece of white crocheted lace trim, and a SU button.  A super easy card, but I think it is rather pretty.  I hope you have a super day, don't forget to check out the other mojo makers creations....they are sure to get your creative juices flowing.  Thanks for stopping by and for the sweet comments you leave, they mean so much...enjoy!
