Mojo Monday/MOJO356-Smile

Welcome, who is feeling tall & skinny? lol, I am only in the card making area...it is Mojo Monday and it is tall & skinny week. I have used the new Verve set called Happy Place, sweet set. I pushed myself to use the colors from the Color Q this week, I struggle with purples; so I feel like I overcome my fear today...lol...I know it is a pink/purple, but none the less I used my purple colored pencil. I had a lot of fun with my card, these flowers are sooo fun...I luv'em. I can't wait to se what you create this week..sparkle & shine!

Eat Cake!

I am up today on the Waltzingmouse Team Talk Blog. I have created a card using the WM Eat Cake set, I so luv this set...you can create your own designs...so sweet! I went with a pink, black, and white color combo...so girly. I used gemstones and stickels on the cake flowers. The happy birthday sentiment is from the WM set Frame It, it is full of great sentiments. I had a blast with this card, I adore the color challenge from Card Concept and the sketch from As You See it...combined together is amazing! I have used a sentiment from the Neat and Tangled set, I adore the font on this...just darlin. I then used a sweeet little flower from Clearly Besotted...cuuuute! I luv this weeks Simon Says Stamp Challenge, emboss it! I want to use embossing pastes on every card...lol. It gives so much texture and depth, but also reminds me of mixed media...luv! I have dry embossed the sweet little butterfly too. I have kept my card CAS this week, I wanted to show off the embossing paste; it is silver! Wendy Vecchi has lots to choose from, I still need to get the black....teehehehe. I have used a few drops of Heidi Swapp color shine, luv this stuff too. A super simple card, but it has lots of interest...sparkle & shine!

Love Everyday

Playing along with Cardabilities and Tag Your It challenges, uses a little mixed media on my tag...so luv the look. I embossed the honeycomb design and then added Tim Holtz distressed inks. Added a Hedi Swapp heart and a leaf flourish from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is Mama Elephant. A rolled down corner with some embossing showing through...so luv the distressed look. Hope your day is grand...sparkle & shine!

hi, I am using the Sketchbook Saturday and Retro Sketch for my card, I thought they where very similar to the same sketch. I used the awesome stitched heart die from Lil' Inker for my focal point and then added clear gemstones all over....eeeeccckkkkkk. I had  blast with this sketch, luv using the My Favorite Things Banner die, the sweet "hello" sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp Set called Handwritten Boarders.  I hope I have inspired you to create summin pretty or maybe even go shopping...teehehehe....sparkle & shine!

I adore this weeks Color Throwdown colors, my great friend Wanda is hostessing this week....I luv her taste and had to play along! I have used the darlin flower set from Simon Says Stamp, called Favorite Flowers and I paired it with a leaf die from Memory Box called Small Marianna Vine. I had such fun with this weeks card, I used an Sixxiz embossing folder and the covered the polka dots with stickles....luv, anything that glitters get me every time...*grin* I have used the awesome Paper Smooches set Flirty Frames and the matching die called Duo Die 1, so fun...luv the sweet frame! I have added a few buttons with hemp twine to complete my card. I am super stoked about this weeks challenge and cannot wait to see what you do with Spots & Dots...sparkle & shine!
