Happy weekend, we are just getting back from a two day stay with my DIL and her family.  We had such a wonderful time, it was so good to spend time with them.  I wanted to play along with a couple of challenges, I am a little late for the Sketchbook sketch, but I luv playing along with Chupa's awesome sketches!  I have used a mix of papers and flower ribbon to make the flowers.  I used a heavy burlap for the stems, a CAS styled card for sure for me.  I am soooooo exciting to tell ya that Verve will be having a Anniversary Release on Friday, August 24......you will not want to miss this!  It is going to be super busy here on my blog from now until then, with peeks starting on Thursday the 16th.....I have a little secret though, but you may see a couple of peeks before then....it is some super fun starting on Monday over at SCS in the Verve forum!  Be sure to check it out....enjoy!

Bow Tie Birthday Wishes

Hello freinds, I am soooo exciting about today's card, I am sharing the Lil' Inker's Bow Die and the Flags and Dies Stamp set...this is seriously my favorite Lil' Inker set!  I have added my shabby/vintage style to these sets, that is what I luv about Lil' Inker...so versatile!  I have used creams and browns, a vintage button, and tiny staples for the banners.  I embossed the base panel of the card, added punched borders at the top and bottom of the main panel.  So glad you stopped by for a peek at my Lil' Inker card creation!  have a super week...enjoy!

Happy weekend peeps, I have been very productive today, a little shopping with my dh, a little cleaning, and a little creating.  We will have a week to get some Christmas shopping done, I luv that...there are a few things on the list for ourselves!  I wanted to share the amazing stamps released from Our Daily Bread this month, this set is one of my favorites....a sweet winter scene called Warm Wishes.  I have used lots of glitter, distressing, and a ribbon and snowflake combo to finish my card.  I also have played along with the Stamping In Time challenge found on the Our Daily Brad Designs Blog, it is a great challenge for Christmas.  Join us in playing along.....hope you have a fabulous weekend...enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs Guest Spot

Good morning, I am super excited to share my card with you today because I have been keeping a little secret.  I am pleased to announce that I will be guest designing for Our Daily Bread Designs this month and next...woohoo!  I could not be happier to be working with such gorgeous images, I am sharing a little peek with you today as to what will be released next week.  This sets coordinates with the Spellbinders Ornaments 2 dies.  I have used  pink gemstones to adorn the tree, so sweet.  I covered the entire images with Martha Stewart glitter, I used a very thin layer of SU crystal effects and then added the glitter.  I was inspired by a card of Mona's here.   I have used white lace trim just beneath the seam binding ribbon, not sure if you can see it, but it is there and it is sweet.  I luv using non traditional colors for Christmas, do you?  If you have not started on your Christmas cards, these Christmas stamps from ODBD is a great way to start.  Hope your day is awesome...enjoy!

Lil' Inker Designs-Sky's The Limit

Happy Sunday, I had to play along with today's SCS Featured Stamper, it is Lydia aka understandblue.  She is a friend and the Website Manager for SCS, she wears many hats...we luv her and appreciate her very much!  I have chose her card here to CASE, from the first time I saw it I luv'd it.  I changed the image, sentiment and colors.  I have used the colors from Raise The Bar challenge and played along with some other challenges listed below. Mojo Monday Sketch-HI There

Happy mojo Monday to you, I am so glad you are here...your visits and comments make my day, especially a Monday..hehehe!  But, today I am off I will be coming home from our little weekend getaway, I hope to have pictures to share with you...*grin*.  It is circle or square week at the Mojo Monday Blog.......I have made my card a circle card; you know I luv these little guys.....it is super simple but cute, don't ya think?  I have used bakers twine and the amazingly gorgeous papers is Stella Rose by My Mind's Eye, I cannot stop using this fabby papers.  The sentiment is Verve's set Fabulous You......you know you are fabulous?......never stop believing that!  Be sure to head over to Verve, Julee is having a great sale...you don't want to miss it  I hope you are off from work for the Memorial Day holiday.....thank you to all the men and woman who have served and are serving.....I am one who is totally grateful!  Head over to the Mojo Monday Blog and check out the mojo makers awesome creations, show them some luv too....have a wonderful day...enjoy!   

Viva la Verve-My Glory

I have created a card tonight to play along with a few challenges, I have had a tuff week so I didn't get Amy a sample before Friday for the Viva la Verve sketch...I luv this sketch and had to play along!  I also wanted to play along with the gals over at FYI.  I have not had a chance to play along since the opening of the challenge....be sure to head over at check them out too!  This church is gorgeous, I use a serene scripture card to meet the challenge.  The scripture is from Verve, it is a Plain Jane Psalm 3:3.  I used the gorgeous 5th Avenue designer papers from Melissa Frances, check out the MF line at Stampers Dream...the lace is amazing too!  I also used the MFT rolled flower die to make my tiny flower, I need one of those rolling tools....this was not easy without it...lol.  I made my flower a little messy and scrunched, I can't help myself I like the shabby look.....hehehehe.  Tomorrow the new dirties will be announced at 12:00 PM EST, you won't want to miss the reveal; these two ladies are amazing!  May your evening be great ......enjoy!

Verve After Release Party

Good morning, if you where not able to be with us Friday night at The Verve release Party, you can get a recap of the divas creations and the sets and dies that went on sale over at the Verve blog.  this is one of my favorite creation of the release, I adore the glittered eggs nestles in the grass....total sweetness, don't ya think?  The eggs in the Egg-Stra Special set are so amazing, the designs make them extra sweet and you know me I added the amazing glass glitter, luv my glass glitter....hehehehe.  The butterfly is so charming, it makes my heart go pitter patter and of course it matches the butterfly stamp in the Chicks Rule set....just a darling release!  I hope you pick your Verve Stamps up today, I cannot wait to see what gor-juss creations you  create!  Be sure to check out all the fellow divas creations, you will not be disappointed, these gals amaze me every release!  Have a fabby day, oh; we woke up to several inches of snow here in VA, the only spring I see at the moment is my card...lol.....enjoy!
