I thought about layers first thing, because there are so many yummy layers to a smores. so I have used the colors, and lots of strips of designer paper, and smeared white ink for some fun design. ok, I have a confession, totally got my three in a row messed up...sorry. I should have used watercoloring and I used the flower, but didn't watercolor it. I have used my favorite stamp company, the stamp market...luv these stamps! I used birthday wishes and botanicals stamp & cut bundle, such a gorgeous stamp! I used the amazing sketch created by laurel, luv her saturday sketches! happy monday friends, hope you have a wonderful week!

ok, so I luv this weeks inspiration pic, I know I say that every week...but, gah...look at those sweet flowers against he cream apron. I went with the pic, sea glass background, cream layer and sweet maroon flowers. these flowers are from the simon says stamp set called, choose joy. this is the cutest stamp set with tons of possibilities...I luv it! I have used daniel smith watercolors for coloring the adorable flowers. The sweet sequins and heart enamels shapes are taylored expressions. I am sharing another flower set from the technique tuesday greenhouse society stamp set. You can subscribe to receive the stamp and die of the month every month here. The flowers are just lovely, this stamp set reminded me of my mom and the home I grew up in, we had these gorgoeus purple iris in our flower bed. I have colored these using daniel smith watercolors and added white gel pen markings too. I have also played along with the sketch saturday sketch. it's always the small pieces that make the big picture

good day friends, happy spring! we are having freezing temps and it is calling for snow tonight...uugghhh. I do not know about you, but I am ready for spring/summer...this stamp set from lil' inker will surely get you in the springtime mood; it is called sweet celebration! It is adorable, sweet flowers and a gorgoeus heart..a favorite embellie of mine to use! sweetheart

well, I could not let laurel's first sketchy saturday come and go without playing along....I am totally a sketch girl...thanks laurel! I have created this card with no stamping, I small piece of watercolor paper and some ink splatter peak out under the sentiment. I went digging around in my leftovers box and pulled this together....a quick and easy way to create a fun card and use up pretty things in your stash! hope you have a wonderful weekend!
