For today's mojo monday sketch, I have also used the colors from clour me. I used the verve stamp being awesome. I watercolored the bottom corner, luv the outcome! I added a thanks die cut across the center and a big ole' glittery silver star in the corner. What fun, be sure to check out the mojo makers creations, lots of inspiration from the team. hello friends, it is my second week guesting for Can You Case It, what a fabulous challenge blog they have...check it out! I have used the sweet stamp sets from Skipping Stones Design, I have ink up the background on watercolor paper and smashed it with a piece of acetate...luv the outcome. Now, let's talk about the tip I am sharing, I have used Avery File Folder Labels to label my ink pads with the exact color for better viewing and choosing. 

I cut the label in half down the middle, turn it over and press on the side of ink pad and lift. 

It puts a neat color swatch on the label and then I write the name of the ink of there too and adhere to the ink pad.

I store my ink pads upset down so the ink is always to the top of pad and not in the bottom. So quick, easy, and cheap; it makes the inks looks sooooo gorgeous! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

hello, are you having fun with  STAMPtember®? I know I am, there is so much inspiration and lots to try and learn. I have used the My Friends stamp and die set for my card, this is the sweetest set with so many possibilities! This sentiment makes me smile, "oh happy day" and it makes me very happy! I have use an embossing folder on the right side and then add paste embossing dots too, I luv the outcome! I played along with a couple of challenges listed below...have fun hopping around! Alright, let me get this out now....eeecckkkkk, I finally got my Canon Rebel T5i....YES....I am luvin this camera. I am also taking a camera class, YES..soooo very excited about that, because I want to be able to use all the settings in manual. I actually shot this card in manual, it is not the greatest but I am believing improvement! I guess I should tell you more about my card...lol..I had such fun with this one. I watercolored the background with a paint brush and tim holtz faded jeans ink....luv the look. I used a sweet die from mft blueprints #22, I so luv the tiny holes; I put a piece of gold glitter paper behind it...luv this too! The thanks sentiment is from the Verve set Better Together, I stamped only the nice sized thanks. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

I am so very excited to share that I am guesting for Can You Case It during the month of September.....yippie! I adore there fabulous color combos and inspiration...if you have not played along before be sure to check them out. For my card today I have used a stamp set from Skipping Stones Design, it is called Healing Wings. I have layered some different designer papers, aded a row of gems between the layers and sentiment. The butterfly is colored with Zig clean color markers and a little stickles for some shine. I can't wait to see what you create! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

Playing along with SCS today, there inspiration challenge is amazing, it is all about cakes...yummy! I chose the peach ombre cake, I am not a big fan of ombre...I know I am in a minority...lol. I do however luv the mix of light and dark color; just not symmetrically, I am an asymmetrical  kind of gal...lol. So I mixed my hearts all up varying the light and dark...YAY, that makes me really, really happy! The super fun retro sketch was perfect for the idea I had floating in my head. I had such fun with these two challenges, I must say I was a little skeered of the colors, but was determined to play along! I am so glad I did, the colors look amazing together. I used two awesome sets from Skipping Stones Design, Breathtaking Butterflies and Birthday Purses. I used tim holtz black soot stain and brushed on the color mixed with water onto the water color paper, I luv how this turned out. I stamped the butterfly in black and added stickles for a little glitter...super fun! Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release, I so luv this gorgeous snowflake that was release along with the amazing script sentiment...luv this set too! I have used sticky glitter paper and adhered it to the fun foam and cut out the snowflake. I used a water color smash on the tag, luv how it turned out. I used a little embossing paste...luv using this! A few gems and glossy accents dots covered in glitter. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

I am playing along with a couple of challenges, I have used the super fun set from Skipping Stones Design called Garden Stamp Kiss set....it is awesome! I created a flower with these fun elements in this set, there are so many possibilities with this one stamp set, I luv that! I brought the white panel forward to emanate the jacket over the color in the inspiration photo from Runway Inspired.
