Delight In The Snow

Good evening gals, I had to work a little OT today so I am rather late getting a card posted. I do not seem to have any creative juices flowing either, so that slowed me down. I created this for today's IC209 and I chose the blue and green pendant shown. I also used Mercy's Tuesday sketch MTSC50. The adorable designer paper is from Hope Stamps Eternal Bella Blvd Plastino Collection. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder for the bottom panel. I added ribbon accented with a button and twine, the tiny pearls are Zva Creative. I used the SU Carte Postale stamp for the background and then stamped over with the Verve stamp Psalm 37:4. Well, I hope you are inspired by my creation, I had to dig a little deep tonight..lol.

I also want to share what has been going on here in VA today, I so luv the snow. Today's 4 to 6 inches is breath taking, don't ya think? This is a photo from our back door looking over the deck. Enjoy!

  1. Just love what you've done with Mercy's sketch. No hint of lack of mojo at alL!! Those big scallops down the side are fabulous. Lovely touch with the button too.

As for the snow, it makes me want to ski LOL!! Lovely picture - I just love the first snowfall when it covers everything up, gets on the branches of the deciduous trees outlining them wonderfully and best of all how quiet everything is. Enjoy it for me :D

  4. Hey, Teresa! Are you kidding me? This is a gorgeous card and there's no lack of mojo, girl! Wasn't our snow beautiful today?! I had Christmas music playing while I decorated the tree. So glad I was off work and could enjoy the beauty without having to drive in it.

  11. Just lovely......I'm so glad to see someone else using these retired colours together - I got an abundant supply before they retired as I just loved them.

I'm very envious of your snow. :) Gorgeous photo. We're heading into summer over here and the weather has been very warm already (a few days past 40C+ the last two weeks) and our winter gets cool, but never below 0C and we only get snow about 6hrs drive away in the high country.

    Hugs, Michey xxx
