Good morning, today's project proves that you can get inspiration from anywhere....lol. The little robot on top of the cupcake reminded me of my husband(insert smile)so I wanted to make something for him. We both have a thing for boxes, tins, and containers, he also luvs green. That's when the idea of this little tin came to mind. This is for today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC43. I used one of the fabulous Hinged Top Nugget Tins from Hope Stamps Eternal, if you have not seen all the great alterables she has you need to check it out! She even has letters, they would be perfect for your stamping room. I used the new Basicgrey Orgins Designer Paper, I really like this dp. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the border and some silver beads to accent. The stamp is Basicgrey also, I sponged it with Tim Holtz Ranger Old Paper Ink. I adhered with Tombow Mono Adhesive. I kept the inside very simple since it is for my dh. I hope my he likes this little tin and I hope that you are inspired. Our projects do not have to look exactly like the inspiration piece, it is to get your creative juices flowing. I hope you will play along with us this week, don't let the little robot scare ya...lol. Enjoy this beautiful day!

This card is for the Our Creative Corner Challenge, OCCC and for Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act13. I adore these colors together, but I am not sure how I feel about my card. I luv color so all the white space is screaming "put some color on me"...lol. I used my new favorite set from Verve Love's Flower. This is an awesome set, really! I stamped, cut out, added seguins with gemstones to the center, and then added SU dazzling diamonds, they are soooo sweet. I used my Scor Pal at the top for added texture and my Martha Stewart Punch at the bottom. I also added gemstones to the scallops. Spread some "love" today....enjoy!

Great tin--I'm sure hubby will fill it with some love notes from you!
ReplyDeleteAs for the card the white is very balanced. You have enough detail here and there that I didn't even notice how much white there was until you pointed it out. It's gorgeous!
Fabulous tin....your hubby will love it! I love the card too!
