Girly You Rock!

Good evening, this is my first post in a couple of days, I have been busy and tired....lol..I guess they go hand and hand. I have to tell you that we are having another HUGE snowfall here in my area of Virginia, this has been one unforgettable winter.....we have so much snow and there is about two more feet to come......yeah! I hope to have some pictures tomorrow.
My cards tonight are several challenges, Mercy's Sketch Challenge, MTSC59 and The Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act 15.
I used the SU set Vintage Vogue, I stamped and cut out the flowers twice, added Stickles, and gemstones. I also used the SU Tiny Tags and added to the button and ribbon. The background stamp is Verve's Bountiful Backgrounds. I hope you like me creation and are inspired to create something beautiful for one or both of these challenges......enjoy!

Stamps: Verve Bountiful Backgrounds, SU Tiny Tags, Vintage Vogue, and PTI Blooming Button Bits
Paper: Bazzil
Ink: SU Almost Amethyst, Pumpkin Pie, and Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Ribbon, Tiny Tag Punch, Stickles, Gemstones, Corner Rounder, Button, Twine, and Glue Dots

I created this card for Papertrey Inks Challenges to use the emboss resist technique. I am not real happy with how mine turned out but this was my first time doing this technique. A very cool technique, one I would try again. I used the PTI Blooming Button Bits and Signature Greetings. I also used the colors from The Color Throwdown #78, very sweet colors together. This is also Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from last week, SSSC54. I used my Provo Craft embossing folder and sponged it with Tim Holtz Antique Linen distressing ink. I added a little stitching, the notebook punch, and the button with linen thread. I should have lots of new creations this weekend, the HUGE snow storm has us in for the weekend.....enjoy!

I'm like you - always about a day late for sketch deadlines. Hopefully I can get my Verve on and get the mojo card in on time :D
