You Float My Boat

Good morning, today's card is for CC259 to use colors from the Olympic symbol, I chose red, yellow, and a tiny splash of blue....hehehe...get it, splash of blue. I used the PTI set called Tiny Treats: Valentine. I won this set from Lynn's blog giveaway, she went beyond the duty trying to get it to me. Please show her some luv, her work is totally amazing. This is also for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch, MTSC62 and for Flourishs Timeless Tuesday, FTTC55 to use flowers(mine is in the dp, some of my favorite dp). I adore this PTI set, it is sooo cute...I hope you are having a wonderful day, did I mention I am off this week. I will be creating, I have a few appointments this week, and spending a little time chillin. Have a great day....enjoy!

Stamps: PTI Tiny Treats: Valentine
Paper: Bazzil and SU Designer Paper
Ink: SU Real Red, So Safron, and Borcade Blue
Accessories: Janome, Button, Ribbon, Linen Thread, Circle Nesties, Scalloped Circle Nesties, and Glue Dots

I created this card for the Viva la Verve at Home Challenges, VLVFEB2010. I chose the napkins from the Etsy shop here, check it out. My card did not go where I wanted it to....lol. I had another vision in my head, but this is ok. I used the Verve set Forever In Our Hearts and used my much neglected felt flowers from SU. The ribbon is a piece i had from a store bought item, don't ya luv when things work out like that? I will be home creating this week....sigh... I luv being home! You still have time to play along with the Viva la Verve Challenges for your chance at some free Verve, you gotta luv that! Enjoy.

  2. Lovely cards, Teresa. Love that Olympic challenge :D Vancouver is over the with atmosphere at having us hosting the Olympics. They have set record crowd numbers for any Olympics -- our family and about 400,000 of our closest friends were all downtown this weekend! Unfortunately that means INSANE line ups to get into venues (2 - 6 hours) so we had to skip them, but we did get to see and take pics of the cauldron and enjoy the sea of red and white :D Your "splash" of blue is a little too true too LOL! With the WARM weather we've been having the snow is melting very quickly!!

Love the Verve card. Lovely soft colours and a wonderful card.

I had a very sad, bad experience with the Singer Pixie so I went out and bought a real sewing machine...I've never looked back!! LOL I have the My Style 100...basic but more than enough machine for me and my cards :)
