I am sharing a manly Christmas card with you, I think most of us struggle with manly cards. I think I great way to help with that is to use some sort of technique. I have used the cracked glass technique on this fabulous Penny Black stamp, it is called Wish For Peace.
This is a super easy technique; stamp your image, cover entire image with VersaMark, pour Judikins Embossing Powder over entire image, heat emboss, repeat several more times, put image into freezer, take out a bend to crack the embossed layered. You can also sponge with a darker ink to give it a more vintage look. This is a great technique for making manly cards. I used the open scalloped border die from My Favorite Things, a little stitching, My Mind's Eye Lush ribbon, and the sentiment tag. I also used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, SSSC90. I hope you have a super day, I know you are gearing up for the weekend..I am! I have had to work a couple of Saturdays lately, this is not my idea of fun...lol. I will have lots of time off come the holidays....woohoo...I am super excited about that. Have a fabulous day...enjoy!
