CAS Card-Hi There
ETA: Donna Huisinga has honored me on her blog, stop by and show her some luv please, a super talented lady that has lots to share, so sweet too! Thanks so much.
Here is a quick little CAS card I made using the new flower set that was released by Verve Friday night. It is from the set Chicks Rule. I cut it out using the Nesties labels Seventeen and then heavily sponged around the edges. I added bakers twine, twill ribbon, and stitching. I played along with several challenges one being from my good friend and SU demo Deb Horst, she has started a new challenge called Last But Not Least. This time around we are to use embossing. I hope you have a relaxing evening....enjoy!

This is so pretty, Teresa! Love the embossing. I've never played along with the Less is More challenge. I think I'll play along this week. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa, It's great to see you joining our challenge with this lovely card.
ReplyDeleteIt's not quite the proportions of the sketch but I realise that cards sizes vary enormously from country to country.
For reference, a DL card (and I have no idea what DL stands for)is about 8ins x 4ins... we have funny sizes in the UK!
It would be great to see you join us again next week!

There is that fabulous EF again! I have been out bid twice on eBay for it - ugh! Love the colour combo and how you have used the flowers and sponged around them.
ReplyDeleteYour card is just lovely - beautiful colors and embossing. Very clever to use a die to create your ATC. So happy you joined in the fun with us this week at Our Creative Corner.

This is stunning!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so beautiful I really admire how well you use Kraft cardstock. It had always seemed like such a dull color to me until I started seeing all your lovely cards. TFS
ReplyDeleteI love your card, your choice of colour works so well with the challenge neutrals. Don't forget though that our challenge at the OCC was to combine an ATC (2.5" x 3.5") with the colour challenge. Thanks for joining us this week!
ReplyDeleteHi there!! I love the embossing on your card, and the twine is the perfect touch. Thanks for linking up with Our Creative Corner!
