Friday MashUP-Hope

Good morning, I want to bring you up to date on my dh, he will be in a neck brace for 4 to 6 weeks, no surgery.  We are so grateful that this accident was not any worse.  Thank you again for the continued prayers and support, it is much appreciated!  To read about the accident go here.  I have created this for the Friday MasUP challenge.  I used a gorgeous scroll chipboard piece and added the scripture Psalm 31:24 from Verve to the top...I think it fits perfectly...don't you?  I added a Melissa Frances glittered flower with a button and burlap string.  I used the black silk ribbon tab at the top, heavy distressing, and stitching bring it all together.  I adore this sketch!  be sure also to head over to the Friday MshUP and vote for your favorite fan inspired challenge(I am a huge fan of the MashUP).....to give you a hint my idea is #1.  If you would like to vote for me that would be awesome!  My proposed challenge is to use handmade flowers and the colors turquoise, red, and black....what ya think...pretty cool huh?  Have a super day, it is almost the weekend....woohoo....enjoy!

  4. Teresa, such a trying time for you with your husbands accident. Glad to hear that surgery is not required.

Your take on my Friday Mashup sketch is very nice, I really like the little points of ribbon poking out from behind the frame.

    Good Luck, Cheers,

LOVE this card, Teresa! The style with the torn paper and the great frame is perfect! Striking color combo too!
