Frilly & Funkie Challenge/Sentiment Focus

Good morning frilly friends, I am sharing with you my card for this weeks Frilly & Funkie challenge.  This weeks challenge is called "I'll Take Your Word For It"...words can be kind, comforting, encouraging, supporting.  For this challenge, let your sentiment take center stage and be the focal point of your project.  I have used stamps from Lil' Inker, the set is called Flags and Tags.  I have used tons of fun stuff from the Funkie Junkie Shop, the burlap, the silk ribbon, the lace, and the Pion Papers.  I made the flower using the silk ribbon; I folded it over and adhered with Scor Tape, the cut tiny slits, rolled it up, adhered to a piece of a glubber, and tucked the tiny pearls inside....sooo sweet!  I cannot wait to see how you answer the challenge.  I hope your day is awesome, I want to leave you with this quote....enjoy!
Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.

You just blew me away with that flower you created out of the silk ribbon - wowzers - that ROCKS! Very inventive way of using the ribbon but I'd have a heart attack trying to cut into it :) Lovely work as always!

  10. Another fabulously textured card Teresa and the layout is lovely. The flower is adorable and I have recently learned how to make this type of flower (I know, where have I been?!!) Now I love to do them in paper, fabric, felt and even thin leather you wouldn't believe.
    All the best Linda
