Good morning mojo peeps, Monday;s are always fun, don't ya think? The mojo makers have brought you another great sketch and several samples to help get your creative juices flowing. Be sure to stop by the Mojo Monday Blog and play along! I used the Verve stamp set Joyful Blooms and the matching die Joyful Blooms Die. I layered the flowers, added glitter and a pearl to each center. Stitching, lace, and burlap string tied with the sentiment complete my card. I want to share this quote by Alan Redpath...hope your Monday is great....enjoy!
If you look up into His face and say, "Yes, Lord, whatever it costs," at that moment He'll flood your Life with His presence and power. ~Alan Redpath

ReplyDeleteHi Teresa,
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and I really like this sketch as it is a perfect one to use for mens cards too. Simple but still stylish.

By the way, as I am sure you know by now, I also love inspirational quotes and so I would like to ask about this one. I was brought up in a Christian home from birth and my father was a lay preacher but, I am sorry to say, I am not sure of the meaning here. Oh, am I just being silly, does it mean that if we offer ourselves to whatever is thrown at us that he will be evermore present with us, to guide or help us?
Gorgeous card. Love the flowers and all the details on your card.
ReplyDeleteYour card is GORGEOUS! Love those flowers. You naturally pull it all together so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. I did try to leave a comment straight away last night but somehow it disappeared. Don't know what I did wrong.
ReplyDeleteAnyway thank you for the explanation and for the direction to the blog quote too. It took me two readings for it to sink in, but know I understand the meaning. Very deep and thought provoking.
Hope you are well and your day has begun well too. It is almost dinner time with us here in the UK (17.00hrs) but it has been beautifully sunny for a change.
Regards Linda x
lovely...love your take on the sketch
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Teresa. The stitching looks great and makes the whole card stand out even more. I love checking out what you all come up with from the sketches. I mainly scrapbook. I am thinking of dipping into more card making with the help of the Mojo Monday Sketches. Maybe I;ll enter my attempts this week. Thanks for sharing.
