Distressing Step x Step

Hello Glitz peeps, I am sharing a quick and easy way to distress your cards.  I really like the personality it gives a card; the shabby, vintage look that I adore!

I use a tiny scrap piece of paper to distress and layer, if you like adding a little summin, summin this is a great way to do it.  It is a easy way to add a splash of color too.  I distress the two sides that will be shown, I distressed three sides on this one, wasn't thinking...there is no need to do that.

On the side, I tore a piece a little deeper into the card, luv this look!

Here is the distressing tool I used on this card.  I have many ways of distressing I use a file sometimes, a sanding block, and I have been known to use my fingernail too..lol.

Here is the back of the card with the two tiny pieces of scraps glued down.  No need to use a whole sheet of paper, use up those scraps!

Here is the final card with the edges distressed and the corner curled down, totally cute!

Another card showing a piece completely torn out on the corner.  On the right side of this card, I have torn the designer paper away from the back side to show even more rawness of the paper. There are lots of ways to distress, let's your imagination run wild!
