I am sharing a card a created for one of the many SCS Hope challenge; to use pink, glitter and make it Christmas. I have used the Sketchbook Saturday sketch. The Verve stamps are from the new release, the set is called Unto Us. I have been dying/spiriting my doilies lately, I luv the look. I have used Tim Holtz distressed paint on this one and then covered it with glitter...sweeeet! I hope you have a wonderful weekend....enjoy!

A super fun and quick CAS card to play along with the SCS Hope You Can Cling To Challenge.....Flat is Fabulous! I have also used the color orange from this past weeks Friday MashUP challenge. The sweet hearts are a Verve Die called From The Heart. The sentiment is part of a Verve Stamp from the Poppy Birthday set. I took a SU marker and just inked the word celebrate!

I am soooooo happy, why you ask? Well, I luv, luv, luv this camera here. I had one and when I broke it good the last time(I have dropped it many times)I purchased a newer model of a Canon. Well, let me tell you, it can not compare to this little baby; so I bought me another one. It is the BEST point and shoot camera I have ever had! My card pictures look so much better with it...I am a happy camper...lol! I played along with the Sketchbook Saturday Sketch and the Dynamic Duos colors. Luv using banners like this, I added a tag that was stained and spritzed. The chipboard stars where sponged and popped up with pop dots. The dh and I are off tomorrow, so we go to breakfast and spend the day chillin...total luv! Hope you have a great week...enjoy!

SCS-Hope You Can Cling To-Stand Tall/HYCCT1317

Hi everyone, what a bust week it has been and it is not slowing down this weekend. I am decorating for a wedding so I will be very busy until Saturday night..whew. I did quickly want to share the card I created for my SCS Hope You Can Cling To challenge, "Stand Tall". Here is how I make mine....
CHALLENGE: Stand Tall , make a tall card . I use a 12 x12 sheet of card stock; cut the paper 3 1/2" x 12" and fold it to be a 3 1/2" x 6" card. It fits into a business size envelope....perfect tall card! You can chat and link up here. Hope you have a wonderful weekend...enjoy!

It is time for Mojo Monday and I am up on the Verve Blog sharing my Diva Dare, Tag Your It creation. I used the Verve Birthday Bots set. You can use them for any occasion and pair them with the perfect Verve sentiment. The Mojo Monday Sketch is perfect for a tag! I adore the new Award Banner Die by Verve! I luv the layered look, like I used for my tags; I choose two different patterns of designer paper..sweet! I then reached for the Munchkin Phrases for an adorable sentiment; another great choice for the Birthday Bot set. I added a little tinsel and a few of the Metal Mix Sequins. There you have it, tag your it!

I have used The Atlantic Hearts sketch for my card today, I did flip it. A pretty simple card from me, using My Mind's Eye Chalk Studio 6x6 paper pad. I cut the sentiment from a sheet of paper and added a little more white ink to make it chalkier...teehehe. I created a sweet trio banner, adding more chalk and a little stickles for a little summin extra. I placed an My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste enamel dot on each one...cuuuute!  I was thrilled to see that The Shabby Tea Room had a sketch for this weeks challenge, you know I luv a good sketch! But, I must also say; I am used to a fabby inspiration image when I visit TSTR, so I went to none other than Pinterest to find myself one. I adore the mint, peach, and gray together and of course the polka dots...swoooon. I was ready to start creating....fun! I used the sentiment stamp from Verve newly released stamp set Poppy Birthday. I luv this sentiment because it can be used for so many occasions, not just birthday. Hope your day is grand....enjoy!
