Coffee Lovers Bloghop-Simon Says Stamp and Verve Stamps

hi friends, I have a lot to share in this post; Mojo Monday, Simon Says Stamp, and the Coffee Lover's Bloghop. Chaitali had this great idea, did you know today is National Coffee Lovers Day? In my top card I have used Verve Stamps and the bottom card is using Simon Says Stamp set What's Brewing?. Just for fun Chaitali gave us a few questions to answer.....

1. When did you start drinking coffee? First thing in the mornings...lol..I take a coffee mug to work everyday. On my days off I have a cup every morning. I do not drink coffee all day long, but I like coffee when I am cold.....lol. I am extremely cold natured and want to drink it just because I am cold.

2. What is favorite brand (you can name up to three). Starbuck's and Gevalia

3. What is the most amazing coffee that you had? Remember where and when? I went on a ladies retreat a couple of years ago and we stayed at a Holiday Inn. I remember them having the BEST coffee I have evah had...it tasted sooooo good! The entire weekend is a fond memory! 

4. If I don't drink my needed coffee, I will... I can live without coffee, but why should I?...lol. I do not need it, I enjoy it and luv it when it is cold outside...it is all about the moment and the ambiance!

I adore this Hero Arts Newspaper Flower, I cut an black layer of the flower to put behind the flower, luv the extra depth it gives. I added gorgeous KaiserCraft sparklet to the center, luv these! I then added some ink spritzing for little extra summin, summin....so sweet! The sentiment is from the darlin Avery Elle Fabulous Floral set. I cannot wait to see what you create this week....have fun...sparkle & shine!

Mojo Monday/MOJO364-Thank You So Much

No stamping here, I was in a bit of a hurry and threw this card together with scraps. I luv how it turned out, I reached for my little box of unused die cuts and paired the mix together. I adore these Maya Road flowers, I only have one left...yes, I am hoarding it....lol. I cannot wait to see what you create this week, lots of interruption with this sketch, I used a little liberty myself...teehehehehe. Have a great Monday...sparkle & shine!

I wanted to share a few new things I picked up at Simon Says Stamp. Isn't the heart shape I used cute? It is a new Sizzix Hearts #4 die, you can get yours here. I used the sweet new Avery Elle set here...adorable...so luv the darlin sentiment in this set! I have used the Tim Holtz Tag & Tile Die, I luv this die; it is the perfect size tag. I have used watercolor paper and added Dina Wakley paints to the tag to give a painted looking background. I had such fun with these challenges, until it came to the selfie part....lol...I would not call my self a professional in that area. Excuse the photo, I am in loungeie clothes and creating today. You Matter Very Much

OMGoodness friends, I have been sooooo busy with our kitchen make over! It is coming along nicely, but slowly since we are doing the work ourselves. I hope to share some photos real soon. I have been itching to get inky, I am missing my creative time. I want to share a card that was created for lots of challenges, check them all out below. I have used the sweet butterfly stamp from Simon Says Stamp, Butterfly Friends. The sentiment is totally sweet and it is from the set Friendly Flowers. I have used embossing paste to achieve the background, some tiny washi tape and gemstones in the center of the butterfly complete my card!
