ETA: I use a 12 x 12 sheet of card stock for my tall & skinny cards, the size is 3.5" x 6"...fits perfectly in a business size envie!

It is tall & skinny week at the mojo monday blog, I so luv making these tall & skinny cards; I use a regular business size envelope to mail these, fits perfectly! I have used a watercolor background splitting the two colors keeping with the gist of the sketch. The stars are a Verve die, it is called starry die and it is on SALE! I super fun card playing along with a couple of challenge, I do believe this is the first card I have created this year using more traditional colors. I have been creating cards using the green, aquas, and blues. I so luv this sweet circle christmas set from simon says stamp called circles for the holiday. The adorable stitched holly is from lil 'inker, so very cute. I added red gems and the twine bow, so much fun! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

right at home for the holidays-warm winter wishes

I have created this super simple cas card using the adorable sets from right at home...I totally luv Nicole's sets, check them out here! The sweet simple sentiment set is so very cute and I sooo luv this sentiment, "totes adorbs"....eeeccckkkk, so fun! I also used the happy mail set for the cuuuute flowers. A simple but adorable card. hi friends, it is an anything goes challenge, I am decided I had better work on christmas cards. I adore both of these stamp sets from altenew, the wood pallet background is am amazing. the reindeer is so very cool and trendy, I luv it! I used tim holtz distressed ink for the background and then took a brush and painted over it with a little water to smear it some. I can't wait to see what you create this week. For today's mojo monday sketch, using the sweet reindeer stamp from Verve, I luv these deer! The set is called unto us, a darlin set! There is also a matching die set, super cute for cutting out; I stamped them and then sponged around the tag. The tag die cut is also Verve, it is called tagged rectangle die. I added some heavy ink splatter on the center strip of watercolor paper. The "peace" is from a piece of designer paper I cut it out. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

I am playing along with the share handmade kindness this week sharing with children. It is fitting for this months cards for a cause over on scs, we are sending cards to an organization that gives cards to children for all sorts of things. This months cause is sooo fun, because the kids are in camps and receive cards for lots of fun stuff like talent shows and birthdays.....so encouraging and up lifting. i was inspired by the fun photo from the fusion, the red, orange, and the peek of green with black & white is nuttin but lov...swoooon! I have used dies from reverse confetti, paper smooches, and simon says stamp. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

I am stuck on thee colors, they are the colors I used for Christmas, so it seems all my Christmas cards are taking the same color combo! I so luv the blue with the mix of green, I am definitely a blue/green/aqua/mint kinda of gal...lol. I have water colored the sweet patch of color with tim holtz distress inks and a water color brush, so easy and so much fun! I added a few stamped stars as well, as gemstone stars, and die cut silver glittery stars. I used the MFT blueprints #4 die set, there is a perfect shaped star in this set, I cut it out and then used my tim holtz scissors to wonky cut away some of the sides to give the star a little character, I sooooo luv how they turned out!
