I have used the super fun Stampendous set Nature, it has so many possibilities! I watercolored the purple using Tim Holtz distress inks and then sponged more inks for the bottom orangeish color and a few ink drops to finish it off. hi friends, did you know World Kindness Day is Nov. 13? I know today is Oct. 13, but why not start now to spread a little kindness. There are so many ways I want to show kindness, I thought why not start a month early....teeehehehe. Here is a link to a girl scout website that shares some ways to show kindness. What a fun sketch Julee has created for today's mojo monday sketch....I have such fun creating my card. Now onto my tip, I am sharing my beloved vintage mailbox....eeeccccckkkk...isn't it gorgeous? It is a solid wooden old mailbox with a metal numbered tag. My dh and I purchased it while pickin one day.  I store my cards that I have on hand in it along with some bags and envies.

I have taken some of my favorite designer papers and made my own cutzie file dividers. I then hand wrote on a pink paislee ticket the type of card that I would be storing behind each divider. I stapled it to the designer paper divider for a little extra awesome sauce!

Have you heard about the hop to stop? The sweet Becca Cruger is raising awareness for domestic violence. Purple is the color of national domestic violence awareness month, not a color I use often, but anything to help the sweet Becca in her quest! I am so stoked about simon says stamp now carrying reverse confetti...whoop, whoop...the background star pretty panel is soooo cute, I luv it!

It is hump day and that means it is time for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to create a CAS Christmas card. The design team is using the awesome products from Memory Box.

I used untraditional Christmas colors, a bright fushia...I luv it! I have used a memory box stencil(no longer in the store, sorry), here are some other memory box stencils. I mixed the embossing paste with tim holtz picked raspberry ink, so yummy! I have used the sweet mini poinsettia memory box die, so cute! A super fast card to create with a lot of punch. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

I Design For Sunday Stamps

Yep, it is true....eeeeccckkkk; I am sooo excited to be able to share this great news! I am now apart of the Sunday Stamps team, have you played along? If not join us for a biweekly challenge of all sorts of great fun! Look at the adorable challenge photo this week, it melted my heart....hence the use of a gorgeous glittery heart! I had such fun with this card, I luv using ink splatter and watercoloring...it creates gorgeous backgrounds! I layered the fun ink blotches over top a polka dotted piece of card stock. Of course I had to add some gems...sweeet! The sentiment is from Skipping Stones Design, it is from the set Healing Wings. What fun, I hope you will join us for the challenge! Are you playing along with SCS Hope You Can Cling to challenges? It is an awesome way to get involved in Breast Cancer Awareness and be able to help others. My challenge is freestyle collage, because we want to be cancer free! I adore making these types of cards, I alike adding the leftovers and rejects...teehehehe..to these cards. Most of what is on my cards was lying in the extra box I have on my desk. I got so carried away creating, I forgot to add a sentiment.....now that is fun! Of course I used the fusion sketch and photo, luv this weeks photo. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!
