Flutter-Digi Luna Moth

I created this for todays IC168, I was drawn to the butterfly pillow. I used my new Digi Sweet 'N Sassy Luna Moth image. I luv this luna moth, I am just starting to learn how to use copics, but for those of you that are pros I would luv to see this image colored by you! I had to use SU taken with teal because I do not have a copic color near that shade yet...notice the keyword yet....hehehe....so this did not turn out the greatest. I used the new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Images, I am so luvin these. All you do is purchase, download, print, and color...how cool is that. With some images I can print six to eight images at a time on a sheet of white cs. These are a wonderful additions to our stamping fun....it is so worth it just to give it a try. This is from the birthday images available called Sweet Birthday. I am learning the coloing technique of copics, so bare with me as I continue to work at perfecting copic coloring. Designer Green

I created this for todays LSC208, to use green and extra points for using green dp. I use SU chocolate chip, cameo coral, old olive, and old olive dp. I used the tree again from th SU thoughts and prayers set. This tree is a favorite of mine, I think it is so comforting and unfortunately I need several sympathy cards. I used the slim flower embossing folder to emboss the bottom, I then added green stickles to the center of each flower. All that glitters meets the criteria for

The Pink Elephant Challenge. I added striped ribbon to the brown fuzzy ribbon. I also used the top die panel for the tree image, let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy your weekend!

I created this for todays SC216, the circles made it a bit tricky, I luv those the things that challenge me. There is a lady in my area that has scrapbook supplies in her home, she had a big sale this past weekend. I got lots of great dp for 4 for a $1.00, you gotta luv that and this Cosmo Cricket dp was one of my favorites. I used real red, river rock, and sage shadow....hence the title. ATC Scripture Challenge Glad & Trust

I created these for this weeks ATC Scripture Challenge, the words are glad and trust. The ATC's are quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I enjoy very much looking up the words and study Gods the Bible, I always get goose bumps when I read His word, the scriptures just come to life for me. I do hope you will consider doing this fun, inspiring challenge. I chose 1Peter 4:13, we are to be glad and rejoice always in all things. For the word trust, I chose Jeremiah 17:7, we must trust God today and everyday, even the days when it seems everything is falling apart, rest in Him, for He is our guide! These words are so comforting. I used scraps for most of these little guys, luv that! The top ATC is also for
Stacey's Jewelry Challenge #24, to use the colors tempting turquoise, kiwi kiss, so safron, and saraha sand. If you play along and upload your creation to SCS use the keyword JCI. FS106 Congratulations Julie

I created this fabulous shaped card for todays FS106, Julie.....her work is amazing. I have had the great honor of receiving one of her cards in the mail, it hangs in my studio..hehehe...it is a very small work space. I tease my dh and say that I am working in my studio, it at least sounds like I am accomplishing something. I luvd the shape of her card and kept the fun shape. You can see her card here. It is the largest scalloped circle nestie and it fits in a regular size envie. I used chocolate chip, kiwi kiss, and tempting turquiose. The fabulous ribbon is from In the Loop. I also use an adorable stamp from the set Pond Pals from Sweet N' Sassy. I colored it with my copics, creating a card from the FS gallery is one of my favorite challenges. It is always nice to give someone recognition, enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Sweet N' Sassy Round-Up

I created this card for the Sweet N' Sassy Round Up, you can see all the other gals creations over at the Sweet N' Sassy Blog. I luv this tree and wanted to put hearts on it for Valentines Day, but most heart stamps where to big. So I took the brush end of a marker and layed it flat to make a small mark and then picked up the brush and layed it in the other direction to make a heart....so very cute! I also luv the sentiment, what a friend we have in Jesus. Jesus is the giver of love, He gave it to us and we are to give it to others. I used SU cs and dp, paper piercing down the side, added ribbon and brads. Enjoy your day and give some love away!

Going Green

As soon as I read the Viva la Verve challenge with a monogramtic twist, I new what color I was going to use......green! Use VLVFEB03 when uploading to SCS so we can see all the creations together. Green is my favorite color and I luv all shades of it. I have so many green dps and cs it was hard deciding which ones to use. I use a bazzil dark green for the base, old olive, mellow moss, and several different dps. I wanted to use my new hardware from SU and of course I used my Verve stamps. I thought this saying goes great with the hardware, the hardware as the word fabulous on it and its definition. I hope you enjoy green, if not pick your favorite color and play along.

When things in your life seem unsure, turn to this scripture and be filled with confidence that God will protect you! To make my album page I used my favorite stamp, really...I so luv this tree. SNSS Monday DT Challenge #13/Mini Top Note Bag

I created this mini bag using the top die and my Sweet N' Sassy stamp set called Key To My Heart. I designed this mini bag for the SNSS DT #13 challenge, to make a Valentine treat holder. I wanted a mini bag to go with the top die, so I have came up with instructions on how to make one. Please let me know if you need further details. Here are the steps:
1. you will need a 10" x 4" piece of cs
2. a second piece of cs 11 1/4" x 2"
3. the 10" x 4" needs to be scored on the long sides at 1/2" and on the short sides at 4" and 6"
4. the 11 1/4" x 2" needs to be scored on 4" and 7"
5. fold on the scores and cut the small pieces so that the mini bag will sit up
6. add tacky tape to all of the outside of the mini bag
7. take the 11 1/4" x 2' scord piece and adhere to the tacky tape to close the mini bag closed
8. add the top die or another layer to make the outside any way you like
Also, please leave me a comment with a photo of your mini bag creation.....I would luv to see what you come up with! Enjoy making your mini top note bag. Use the keyword SNSMC13 if you upload to SCS or PCP.

The photo on the left is before the mini bag has the 11 1/4" x 4" piece of cs is adhered and the middle photo is the mini bag with the tacky tape and the photo on the right is the mini bag before you had your creations.

Love Cut Out

I created this card for todays TLC207, to cut something out. This card is also for the
Viva La Verve sketch with a twist, the twist this week is no dp. Using no dp is very hard for me, I luv dp. Thanks Amber for the twisted stretch...hehehehe. I used riding hood red, white, and black. I stamped the flower image on the black cs with white ink, it is from the new SU set called Thoughts & Prayers. I ran the white piece through the CB using the swiss dots embossing folder. I ran the long stem flowers through the CB and cut them out, I added American Crafts Cranberry brads, they match the riding hood red cs perfectly. I tied riding hood red ribbon and added the sentiment, it is from Verve. Enjoy your evening!

Change & Peace

I created these ATC for the scripture challenge, if you want to play along and upload your creations use the keyword SCRC209. For the word "change" it has two meanings for me. We must change our old ways and live for Jesus, but Jesus is never changing....that gives great comfort. I used two scriptures Job 14:14 and Malachi 3:6. Gods word was, is, and will be the same for evermore, that brings "peace". Trusting the Lord will bring peace. The Lord has given me an inner peace like I have never felt before. Before I accepted Jesus in my heart inner peace was the futherest thing from my heart and mind. I lift up praise to the Lord for giving me peace. The scriptures I chose are Colossians 3:15 and Phillippians 4:7. I did not put Collossians 3:15 on my ATC because of room, but it is in my journaling. I hope you enjoy reading these scriptures. I luv creating these little ATC's, I hope you join the fun!
