I am soooo excited to be celebrating the one year birthday of concord and 9th with Angie and Greg...thank you so much Angie and Greg for the invite! They are so graciously giving away a $20 concord and 9th gift voucher to one random person on my blog today.
It is no secret I luv b&w stripes, I have used the amazing stripe builder set for the bottom section of this card.....FAB! I two step stamped the flowers and added a few sequins and I am luvin the little polka splatter that is included in the brushed blossom set.
Please comment and tell me what you would get with the gift voucher if you are the winner. You have until Thursday August 18 at 5:00 PM EST to comment.
I have paste embossed to the left of the flower and then stamped the flower using tim holtz distressed inks that have been spritzed with water. I few tiny gemtones in the center of the flower for some shine. And, of course b&w tiny washi tape down the side and some twine....FUN! I have used the cas(e) this sketch/cts185 for this card.
Below are pictures and links to the stamp sets I have used for my cards today. Here are the links to some of my favorite cards using concord and 9th stamps; with sympathy, I miss you, be amazing, thank you, and a gift for you.
Love, love, love the simplicity of your card. It's exactly what I always hope to arrive at and never seem to get there, lol! The bit of yellow with the washi tape is genius (am I gushing too much?). Anyway, what would I get if I win...let's see, I've just ordered a bunch of stuff from them, so I think I'd get any of their flower stamps. I really like the one you chose, so maybe that one. or the Floral and Flutter bundle, or the Flourish set. Or maybe...gosh choosing is too hard!
ReplyDeleteThese are such pretty cards! I love the softness of them and the great texture that you add!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are delightful! Love the color combos and the textures! Next n my wish list is Super Cool!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Teresa...swooning over the gorgeous flowers, paired with the eye-catching strips! If I were a lucky winner, the Give Thanks bundle, along with the Thanks die, would be heading my way. LOVE C&9 products! Congratulations on being part of this incredible celebration!

Wonderful cards! I love the soft colors. I would probably buy Brushed Blossoms if I could pick just one, just to have that great spatter stamp!!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so pretty. I, too, love a b&w stripe. Makes a card go to the "elegance" level. I have my eye on "Birdie Banners" if I should win the gc. I'm a birdie lover! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Layers of Love Bundle would be my choice.
ReplyDeleteI like that you can change the sentiment.
Love the two-step stamping on your first card.

Hi Teresa ~ Your card is incredibly lovely. I enjoy using embossing paste as well; it just gives the card that something special, you know? Your flower is absolutely wonderful with the use of Distress Inks (I'm a TOTAL D.I. Junkie!!). I placed a large order last night (shhhh.....don't tell my hubby!!) but didn't finish my wish list! I'd love to get a floral set (or two or three or more!) of stamps next. I HAD to get the Take a Bough Bundle because when I finally saw it last year it was sold out!
