Super cute image by art impressions, it is called deep breath birthday. I have colored it with zig clean color markers and then added a bit of stickles to the cake's icing. A tilted patterned paper panel add to the sweetness. I also add bakers twine and a couple of pretty pink posh clear dew droplets...they really do resemble water droplets. I have used a stamp set from the new simon says stamp release called one of a kind...the set is called so cool. It fit the curtain call inspiration photo this week, perfectly. I knew I wanted the popsicles to be a pretty pink, I used simon says stamp pink inks to stamp them. I then covered them with a bit of diamond stickles for a little shine. A few clear sequins for fun and the stamped stay cool sentiment die cut using simon says stamp stitched circle dies. Have a wonderful day, the weekend is almost here!

I have used the super cute echo park floral hello die for my card...I adore this flower die! I paired it with a tag die from casual fridays called tag buddies. The sweet thanks sentiment is from the cute simon says stamp set called lots of thanks. I have used the inspiration photo from inspired by and the fun sketch from paper crafts crew, links below. I adore the photo, but I would have not put these two colors together, but luv the outcome on my card. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge this week we are challenging you to using patterned paper. I have use the patterned paper from the pack called spring things, I luv using patterned paper; but used it this time in a little different way. This adorable fire fly jar was on a piece of the paper, so I cut it out and popped it up for depth and used it as my main focal point. I added a bit of twine around the neck of the jar and the sentiment is a sticker from dear lizzy. A few pretty pink posh clear dew droplets around the edges for fun. I can't wait to see what you create this week using patterned paper.

I had to play with this weeks just add ink challenge, I adore the copper pitcher full of flowers....it remind s me of years ago when copper things were really popular. I remember my mom having some of the copper mugs and platters. I have used the gorgeous flower set from concord & 9th called hello lovely. I heat embossed the flower using simon says stamp white embossing powder and then sponged over it all with copper ink from tsukineko celestial copper. The sentiment is simon says stamp handwritten boarders. A few clear simon sequins to finish it off. I have used the sketch from crazy 4 sketches and tilted it a bit...*grin*

Trying to get in some much needed creating time, had fun with this adorable cas card. I have used the amazing stamp sets from the stamp market, called best ever greetings and trendy background builder. A gorgeous color combo, one of my favorites...I luv greens, blues, and aquas especially together. Hope you have a great start to your week!

choose to shine

Had to play along with a couple of challenges, I adore the inspiration photo from card concept, I was inspired by the colors and patterns. Went with a little watercolored background, using daniel smith watercolor paints. I aslo used a stencil to add embossing paste, the design reminds me of the pattern in the chairs. The stars are die cut from the awesome paper smooches star dies, this set of dies is one of my favorites, there are lots of layers and sizes. The chipboard sentiment is from a tim holtz quote sentiments, luv these too! I added a few eneamel dots and a twine bow...had a blast creating this card. I also used the fun layered sketch from freshly mades sketches.

sunday stamps-collect beautiful moments

hello friends, happy sunday funday! Isn't this weeks sunday stamps colors so cheerful? I luv the mix of raspberry and lemon. I have used ken oliver color burst for the stop portion and then to tone it down a bit, I added a piece of vellum. The awesoem chipboard sentiment is tim holtz quote chips and you can get it in the simon says stamp store. The felt is from taylored expressions and the flower shape is from verve. I have added nuvo drops to the center of the flower. I hope you have an amazing day and I cannot wait to see how you use this weeks colors!

well friends, I am super excited to share with you that I am joining the as you see it challenge team....thank you heather for asking me to be apart! If you are not familiar with the challenge, you gotta check it out. It is an every two week challenge, that consists of sketches, colors, themes, and who knows what other fun challenge they will come up with. This weeks challenge is an over the top fabulous sketch, a keeper! I have used the sweet stamp set from the stamp market called UR amazing and little notes. I have used a summery color combo, with some striped card stock behind the frame and ink splatter. A fun cas card that is perfect for this weeks as you see it sketch....did I mention, I adore this weeks sketch....eeep!

I have used the awesome stamp set from wow, called wall art..luv the quote that is in this set. I heat embossed the sentiment and the brick background using wow embossing powders, bright white and primary ebony regular for the sentiment. I wanted the wall to have a tattered look and then a crisp sentiment across the front. A few pretty pink posh dew drops for added texture and uniqueness. I must have flowers always & always

I had to play along with this weeks fusion challenge....so adore the colors; grey, aqua, and peach...that was the bases for my card. I have used the super cute flower set from reverse confetti bloom n' buds. I watercolored the background piece and then stamped and die cut the flowers and arranged them to my card. The sweet flower sentiment sticker is from dear lizzy. Of course I had to add some bakers twine and simon says stamp clear sequins. I hope you have a wonderful week.

I had to play along with the first tic tac toe challenge and what fun I had. I luv challenges and the freedom to create in our own interpretation. I have used the top row for today's challenge, the stripes to the side, the circle is my flower, and of course I have used lots of gold. The gorgeous bloom was heat embossed in white ink and then sponged with gold ink. It is from the stamp market and it is called watercolor bouquet stamp and die bundle. I also used the super fun set called perfect pieces, so many possibilities with this set. I so luv the polka dotted stamp and the random way it stamps...super fun! We are using tim holtz products to inspire you. Be sure to play along with the simon says stamp monday challenge too, they are making it masculine this week as well. I have used the fun tim holtz stamp set called french market, I choose the argyle shape for the main focus. I little distress ink wash for the background and ink splatter bring it all together. I created this for my dad and whenever I make a card for my hubs or dad I use something a tiny bit feminine or glittery to represent my love for them! The little heart has a bit of stickles over it, I have also used pretty pink posh droplets and nuvo drops.

mojo monday/mojo500-beautiful

Well my friends, it is with great sadness that I share this will be the last mojo monday sketch for the mojo monday team. You can read Julee heartfelt farewell here on the mojo monday blog. I have been creating mojo cards since way back when, before there was a team...I have not missed one week of creating since the mojo monday blog started january of 2009. I am super sad to see this come to an end.... but I am so grateful to julee and her inspiration week after week....she is amazing! THANK YOU JULEE! I have been using julee's sketches since I started stamping in 2008, you can see my very first card created with mojo 26 here. be kind, I was extremely green. I luv how I titled it even then.."my first mojo" it really was true love! You can see all of my mojo cards created since there was a team in my scs mojo album link. I created an album just for them way back when!
