Viva la Verve/VLVAUG2013-Happy Birthday

Happy weekend peeps, I am thrilled the weekend is here, it has been a long week! I am the hostess this week for the Viva la Verve sketch, I would luv it if you would join us in the SCS forum. I have created a birthday card, using a fun color combo. I have used washi tape at the bottom of the card, laying it in strips to resemble designer paper, I luv the look. Waltzingmouse Stamps-Happy Birthday

I have created the elegant CAS card using the latest sentiment set from Waltzingmouse called Big Day-Today, it has the most beautiful scrolls with some of the sentiments and some more simple ones too; the best of both worlds in one set! I wanted to share another card created with the new Waltzingmouse Stamps that released today. You can get yours here. I used the set Big Day-Today sentiments, these are stunning! I played along with today's SCS inspiration challenge. I was inspired by the pillow in the photo, I am having custom pillows made for our sofa and bed and have had pillows on the brain. I have used the SU heart punch to create the flower, added button, and a twine stem...super cute! Hope you have a wonderful evening...enjoy!

Hello, I have created this to play along with the Fusion Challenge, I am addicted to this one...lol.  I luv the fact I can use the sketch along with a inspired photo. ETA: Have been asked how I made the flower, it was burlap ribbon. I frayed the end and rolled it onto a Gluber, nothing special.  Made sure the frayed end was the center of the flower.  I hope this helps Christine!

Happy day peeps, well the yard sale shopping this morning was a bigggg hit!  We got lots of great bargains, it was seven of us, so you can say the SUV and truck was full....fun, fun!  I wanted to play along with the Fusion challenge again, trying once again to get the peers votes.  It is not working well for me though...lol.  I must say it is fast becoming one of my favorite challenges...luv the inspiration with a sketch; by far my two favorite types of challenges!  I went for broke and used both the sketch and photo, sweet photo; don't ya think?  I made the burlap flower from burlap styled ribbon kept it shabby looking.  I used the new Verve release set On Occasion.  Hope you Saturday evening is full of laughs...enjoy!

Let Your Light Shine

I am luvin the new Fusion Challenge, one because there is a sketch involved..yippee...my favorite kind of challenge!  And, two there is a photo inspiration, what could be better?  You have the best of both challenge worlds, don't ya think?  I do, you can always use either one of both, it is up to you.  I went for the gusto today, suing both to challenge myself.  Totally luv the sketch and I adore pink and orange together.  I used the newly released Verve Stamp set Let It Be, I adore this set, so many sweet sentiments and verses.  You can see my other card using this set here.  I am sharing another picture of Lexi at the bottom of my post, she is a really good girl!  Hope your day is great, Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms and Moms to be...enjoy!

Sweet Baby

I am sharing a card I created using the latest Waltzingmouse release, it is called Nordic Baby, a darling baby.  I have you the gorgeous papers from Echo Park, Bundle of Joy and I adore this paper pack; the papers can be used for more than just baby cards.  I have added lace trim and seam binding with burlap string, and topped it with a lushes brown button.  A CAS card for me, but with a few extras.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend....enjoy!

Just A Note

I am sharing a quick CAS card, I wanted to play along with a couple of SCS challenges.  The CAS challenge for today is to use the chalkboard technique.  I adore this easy peasy technique and it is super hot at the moment.  I have used a Unity Itty Bitty stamp and some new Websters Pages papers. Black twine ties with a sweet bling center. Hope you have a wonderful evening, it has been a rather nice day here today....enjoy!

Good morning and welcome to the weekend, it could not have come sooner for me!  A fun sketch this week at Waltzingmouse.  I adore this stamp set from Waltzingmouse, such a sweet sentiment and the Bethlehem scene at top....very pretty!  The word "joy" is also from the same stamp set, so when you pick this set up for yourself it will get lots of use.  You can get your set of Seasonal Remedies here.  I knew I wanted to play along with Word Art Wednesday too, the focus is God's goodness.  He showed His goodness to us by sending  His only son...freely given!  Amazing goodness!  I used the soft sky with red and favorite color combo of mine, especially at Christmas!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend....enjoy!

Good morning, it is time for another fun Waltzingmosue sketch, I hade such fun with this sketch!  I used the awesome background set called Heirloom patters to make the background designer paper.  I then sponged it to give it a vintage look, very cool!  I also adore the sentiment, it is layered for a very cool affect.  I finished my card with the seam binding ribbon and crocheted flower.  I hope you will play along with us, you do not have to have Waltzingmosue stamps to play along  but you must use Waltzingmosue stamps to be eligible to win.  Have a super fun day....enjoy!

Mojo Monday/MOJO242-Just Dance

Good morning everyone, I am back with this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch.  I have went super simple today, I needed a card for our granddaughter, she is a dancer; she is young but is very dedicated to dancing.  We went to her recital a couple of weekends ago, I wanted to send her a card and tell her our awesome she is and that we are very proud of her!  No stamping, I took a die cut, sponged around it, and added glitter.  That is all from me today, I cannot wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch.  Be sure to stop by the Mojo Monday Blog and check out the mojo makers creations....enjoy!
