Glitz Design

Good morning friends, this month it is all about gratitude!  We can interpret this months theme any way we like, I immediately thought about my girlfriends and bff.  I work with a very close friend who is retiring this month and I am so thankful to know her and work with her.  

My cards this month where all made with the latest Glitz release....swoooon!  I am so much luvin workin with these new papers and all the new embellies.  I have used the Yours Truly paper pack and the whatnots, luv these!  I also used the stamp set Hello Friend, sweet set!  The stamps sets come in an awesome tin, I was so excited when I saw the great storage tin for the stamps.  If you have not picked up your new Glitz, I hope you do today!

My second card was a ton of fun, I just started playing, luv doing that!  The Glitz embellies make it so fun to create!

I have used the Your Truly on this card too.  I used the darling paper garland and the tape on this card.  Lots of sweet things to look at.  I used another one of the stamp sets from the Yours Truly set.  A fun CAS card to put together  super easy!  The 'happy day" sentiment is a stamp too...sooo very cool!

Thinking of You

I have a quick little card to share, I just had to play along with Try Stampin on Tuesday, I adore this sweet sketch!  Lately, I have been layering these little flags and I adore how it looks, so cute!  I also was drawn to the inspiration photo at Stampin Royalty  it was that one little piece of black and white polka dotted paper that got me...so girly...teehehehe.  I have used a hodge podge of designer papers from the paper pack October Afternoon Woodland Park, luv this paper pack!  I hope you have a super day, I am gearing up for Thanksgiving and getting ready to decorate for Christmas...yeah!  Have a wonderful day....enjoy!

Christ The Savior

Frilly & Funkie Chipboard/Metal Challenge

Good morning, it is time for another Frilly & Funkie Challenge, it is chipboard and metal.  This weeks challenge is brought to us by Marjie, here are the details...This week we're looking for two elements on the project of your choice.  We want to see chipboard and metal.  It can be purchased, homemade, or faux.  You can use branded chipboard pieces or cut up a cereal box... choose items from the hardware store or simple household metals like staples or paperclips. Ranger's foil sheets would work too. The options are endless! We want you to be creative and can't wait to see what you share with us.  I have used the gorgeous chipboard snowflakes from Melissa Frances, my metal is the cute little jingle bells.  I stained the snowflake with Tim Holtz distressed stain and then covered it with white crackled paint, I was amazed at how much the stain showed through, I adore the look!  I have used the Sketchbook Saturday sketch and the inspiration came from The Shabby Tea Room.  I had a blast with this weeks challenge....enjoy!

Winter Wishes

Hello friends, I am sharing a card I created to play along with a few challenges...you know I luv my challenges!  I have used the sketch from Retro sketches and the colors from today's SCS color challenge....I luv these colors!  I have kept it very CAS for me, adding chipboard snowflakes and layered border punches designer papers.  I tied a seam binding bow with a button, super cute and super easy!  I hope you have a wonderful day...enjoy!

Hello, I have created this card to play along with today;s SCS CAS challenge.  I was thrilled to see that they had used my CAS card here as inspiration for today's challenge...thank you kindly I am honored!  I have used the gorgeous paper pack from Teresa Collins called Christmas Home...such bold and vibrant designs and colors...luv it!  I have used a combo of stamps the sentiment is Verve's new release set Peace on Earth and Teresa Collins set Noel.  I added more banners this time, so it is not as CAS, but still very CAS for me...*grin*.  I hope you have a super fabulous day...enjoy!

Viva la Verve

Good morning and welcome to the weekend, it is time for another great Waltzingmosue Sketch.  I totally adore this sketch, I flipped mine of course to make it a taller card!  I have used the Candy Jar Christmas  Fillers Set, for make card....sweet polka dotted lid, don't ya think?  I have added the pink jingle bells, I have colored these myself.  I am in the process of coloring others in fun colors.  I have used spray paint and spray adhesive to add the glitter, super simple and easy!  Be sure to stop by the Waltzingmosue Sketch Blog and play along with us.  Have a super fabulous weekend...enjoy!

Frilly & Funkie Friday Focus

Good morning friends, it is time for a Friday Focus at the Funkie Junkie Boutique!  I am once again sooooo excited about today's Friday Focus.  I adore sharing anything Melissa Frances and today is no exception!

I have used the sweet Melissa Frances brown zipper ribbon, so fun!  I have made a zipper flower, added red tulle to the center and a pearl.  This zipper ribbon makes the sweetest flowers.  You can use glue, stitch them or use a Gluber by Cosmo Cricket.  I have used the Melissa Frances Christmas Stickers, the main image is from that set.  I stamped the sentiment and tucked in on it's side next to the main image.  Stained the gorgeous lace and sponged the doily.  A super easy and sweet Christmas card.  Be sure to stop by the Funkie Junkie Boutique and pick up your supplies today!  Linda is also having a moving sale, you can get the details of that here.... happy shopping!

Frilly & Funkie Challenge/Tic TacToe
