concord & 9th birthday bash blog hop and GIVEAWAY

I am soooo excited to be celebrating the one year birthday of concord and 9th with Angie and Greg...thank you so much Angie and Greg for the invite! They are so graciously giving away a $20 concord and 9th gift voucher to one random person on my blog today. 

It is no secret I luv b&w stripes, I have used the amazing stripe builder set for the bottom section of this card.....FAB! I two step stamped the flowers and added a few sequins and I am luvin the little polka splatter that is included in the brushed blossom set.

I have paste embossed to the left of the flower and then stamped the flower using tim holtz distressed inks that have been spritzed with water. I few tiny gemtones in the center of the flower for some shine. And, of course b&w tiny washi tape down the side and some twine....FUN! I have used the cas(e) this sketch/cts185 for this card.

Hello, this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge is super fun, let's go wild. Bring on the wild sentiments, colors, boldness...go wild. The design team is spotlighting products from w plus 9, what amazing florals...check them out! Don't forgot every week at simon says stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I had a blast with this weeks card, I painted the fun thin zebra stripes using a silver black velvet brush, I luv these brushes! I am so happy with the way it looks...a little on the wild side, wouldn't you say?...teeehehehehe. I have used the prima confection watercolor inks pans for painting. I did add any embellies, I anted the stripes and flowers to come alive on their own! I did use my all time favorite pre printed tags from pebbles for the sentiment...I have ordered two packs of these and will probably order another..luv! Be sure to check out the design teams creations, these ladies are super talented!

august 2016 diva inspiration challenge and blog hop

mojo monday/mojo460-thanks for being awesome

A fun card for this weeks mojo monday sketch, using the color throwdown colors...awesoem color combo! I used items lying on my work table to put this card together....super easy but I think really pretty. I adore the watercolored background, I used my favorite prima confection ink pans to create the look. I used the no longer available plain jane, being awesome....hopefully it will appear in a new verve set for ya! I hope you play along with us, can't wait to see what you create!

Another fun card for the dare to get dirty challenges at scs, I luv the dare to get dirty week...so many awesoem challenges and chatting...sure hope you play along! I have used ink splatter, watercoloring, paste embossing, and gems...super cute, pink, and girly...fun! I sponged the chipboard heart from heidi swapp these are from way back when...you know I luv my hearts, so I have been hoarding them...teeehehehe. Sticker sentiment again...luv!

I had a blast with this scs dare to get dirty challenge, I sure hope you are playing along....the link is below. I have used one of my favorite stamp sets evah from paper smooches, this is called best buds. I have used the prima confection paints to color the flowers...so fun. I used sticker words for the sentiment, so luv using these to create a unique sentiment.

I so luv hero arts stamp sets, so many adorable sets. I have used two from lia griffith...check them out! I have stamped the adorable flowers in a row in different colors onto a watercolored background. I have added stripped washi tape and then stamped the sentiment. The card stock is bazzil robin eggs blue. Some simple lime twine completes my card. Can't wait to see what you create!

We are here with another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES WITH GLITTER

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible.

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!

For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.

I have used the verve stamp set great friend, luv this gorgoeus big bloom. I have used washi tape to make two strips down the watercolor p[aper and then I smooched the color and then lifted the washi tape to reveal the white space or strips for the sketch. A couple of tilted panels and twine complete my card. Have fun with this weeks mojo monday sketch.
