SCS Hope Challenge- October 30, 2011
Hello and happy Sunday, I have created this card for the SCS Hope Challenges, you can join the month long fun here. I helped Edna with her challenge of Frilly Paper Ribbon, HYCCT1130; be sure to join the chatter and fun. Below are detailed pictures on how I made my frilly paper ribbon.
I laid a couple of strip of scor tape down where I wanted my paper ribbon to be, then I used my stylus to make the loopy circles.
After I went across the entire card, I flattened the paper down the center and finished it with stitching. My card is sorta simple but I really like the look. I used a Verve sentiment, from the set Great Friend. I will be gearing up this coming week for a really busy following week. My blog will be running over with new stamp peeks from my favorite companies, so be sure to keep checking back! I have pinned some fabulous things on my Pinterest boards, I would luv for you to follow along! Make the most of this day....enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs Guest Spot
Good morning, I am super excited to share my card with you today because I have been keeping a little secret. I am pleased to announce that I will be guest designing for Our Daily Bread Designs this month and next...woohoo! I could not be happier to be working with such gorgeous images, I am sharing a little peek with you today as to what will be released next week. This sets coordinates with the Spellbinders Ornaments 2 dies. I have used pink gemstones to adorn the tree, so sweet. I covered the entire images with Martha Stewart glitter, I used a very thin layer of SU crystal effects and then added the glitter. I was inspired by a card of Mona's here. I have used white lace trim just beneath the seam binding ribbon, not sure if you can see it, but it is there and it is sweet. I luv using non traditional colors for Christmas, do you? If you have not started on your Christmas cards, these Christmas stamps from ODBD is a great way to start. Hope your day is awesome...enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Spread Your Wings
If you are looking for my Waltzingmous Blog Waltz card scroll down one or click here.
I am sharing today Mojo Monday sketch card, I had fun with this weeks sketch. I knew I wanted to use the bold number and newsprint paper from SU. So I used the very bold and one side and the not so bold on the other side. I tied a bow down the center using black twill ribbon. The corrugated frame is from Maya Road. The sentiment and butterfly are Verve, the sentiment is from an older set but one of my favorites, Beautiful Kindness. The butterfly is cut out using A Cut Above Die by Verve, an adorable butterfly shape. I have ruffed up the paper and added pearls down the center. Be sure to head over to the Mojo Monday Blog and check out the other mojo makers creations! I hope you have a wonderful start to your week...enjoy!

I have created this for the SCS Hope Challenges, to help the MD Cancer Center in TX. Today is my challenge, it is called "Brave Heart", my challenge to use is to use at least one heart on your creation. The patients and families who fight cancer have to be so brave, lets honor them by using a heart on your card. Thank you so much for supporting MD Anderson Cancer Center! There is also an added challenge that is NOT eligible for prizes, be sure to go here to find out the details. I have created a card for the second part of my challenge, to see it go here. Waltzingmouse Sketch-Thinking Of You
Good morning, I have created this for today's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, I altered the placement of the circle....luv this great sketch! I have used the WM set called Blessed By You. My card is rather CAS styled for me, but I adore this tree so I did not want to have a lot of extras. I added a little cardboard crimped border to the bottom of the tree and a butterfly to the button. Head over to the Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog and check out the rest of the DT creations, these gals are amazing!
