I have started with the hearts...*grin*..I cannot wait to use them after christmas. I do not always using them in a valentine way, but that is what is on my mind. Actually I look for a way to use hearts anytime, this stitched heart is lawn fawn, so cute! I have created a watercolor background in 2018 pantones color of the year....purple...the crowd goes wild...lol. I only started using purple this past year and actually have grown very fond of it. crazy, I know; who would have thunk it? I had to pair it with my all time favorite aqua(true love). I adore these florals from lawn fawn too, so cuuute! I cannot wait to see what you create this week...have fun!
hello friends, I have my sights set on 2018; the new year! I luv fresh starts, the hope of things to come and adventures! Today's quote is super fun, I hope to stay curious in the coming year, what fun we shall have if we do! I have sued a new papertrey ink stamp set to me, I did not make christmas cards with it, but could not wait to pull it out when I saw the papertrey ink inspiration photo. I luv, luv, luv making heart cards...they are my all time favorite to create and they are not just for valentines days quite the contrary. I used a faux watercolor technique; stamping then spritzing. Discovered this during the scs fallidays and I luv using it. Also, used the atlantic hearts sketch...hope you have a week full of creating...I plan on it(along with some hard chore painting I need to continue working on, progress pictures to come on my IG) words with meaning - blessed are the curious for they shall have adventures. atlantic hearts sketch: sketch/#244 papertrey ink: inspiration photo
I do not know where my mojo has gone, it has gotten up and went. I did not get the christmas cards I wanted to make made; so I had to send some store bought cards...I know, shame on me. I have a few that had to be homemade and this is one of them. I have used the awesome stamp market set called botanicals stamp and cut bundle and created it to be like a poinsettia...I luv the stamp market! I faux watercolored by spritzing the paper with water and then stamping with tim holtz distress inks. I added glitter and a few sequins. The cozy christmas sentiment is from neat and tangled winter wishes set. i hope you are enjoying your time preparing for christmas, such an exciting time of year!
Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, it is party time, so let;s see your party time cards. The design team is using products from our very own simon says stamp. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!
I have used the sweet balloons from the birthday bits set and watercolored them with daniel smith watercolor ink. I luv her inks, they are so vibrant and smooth! I added a little stickles to the balloons and then some dr. ph martins pen white ink, I luv this ink for splattering. It is a bold white and dries quickly. I have used becky higgins designer paper for the plaid background and a black card stock base. I can't wait to see what you create for this weeks party time challenge.
