I have used a memory box set that is no longer available, the darling sending scribbles set is a very close replacement if you are interested. I used a altenew stencil and embossing paste to create the fun striped background...luv how it looks against the lavender card stock. I watercolored the flowers and hand cut them with scissors. I then placed them all together and added matte white sequins. I cannot wait to see what you create.

hello friends! this is a super fun sketch this week designed by the amazing jen timko...I luv it! I have used the reverse confetti heart cover up die and then put b&w striped designer paper behind. A few ink splatters and some enamel dots to complete my card. I also played along with just add ink to use a "h", ofcourse I went with hearts...*grin*. I hope you all play along with us at freshly made sketches, can't wait to see what you create!

simon says stamp/make your own background - shine bright

Be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, we are challenging you to making your own background. The design team is using products from the amazing lawn fawnDon't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

A fun card today, I have used the adorable bubble stamp to create the fun background and then wen t back and added a bit of stickles to soem of the bubbles. I cut a heart from striped black and white designer paper using the lawn fawn stitched heart die and the adorable flower. I added a few clear sequins to the center of the flower and the faux watercoloring(spritzing with water after it was stamped with distressed ink)...I luv using this technique; fun, quick, and pretty. I cannot wait to see what you create..have fun!
