Frilly & Funkie Challenge/Texture and Fabric

Good morning my creating friends, I am so thrilled with today's card....teehehehe.  Isn't it funny how some cards just "do it" for ya, this is that card for me.  Perhaps it is because I did some things I do not usually do; leaving the stitching on my fabric hearts messy is a big one!  I would have normally tried to make it perfect to the outside, I let it all hang out on this  The challenge today at the Frilly & Funkie Blog, is to use texture(luv that) and fabric(luv that too).  I added my favorite lace once again, ribbon and a button, the tiny clothespin, so sweet!  I will tell ya another secret on the tiny clothespin....I wanted it to be further down than it would have been if I had just clipped it on the heart....soooooo I took the clothespin apart, only used half of it, and glued it down where I wanted it...perfect!  Be sure to check out the challenge details over at the Frilly & Funkie Blog and do join us in the fun!  Hope your hump day is great...enjoy!

CASE Study-Joy Taylor Week 3

Hello friends, it is time for another CASE Study creation with Joy Taylor.  I was drawn to the green and to the amount of open space; something I rarely have....teehehehehe.  I really like the details, I am also drawn to the C&S(clean and simple)but it is harder for me to create.  I kept it simple but did use distressing, one of my favor ways to embellish.  I used the Sketchbook Saturday sketch too, lots of open space.  I used my favorite Lil' Inker set, Flags and Tags.  Be sure to check out the amazing, new, and fun sets and dies Lil' Inker is bringing to us...they are awesome!  I cannot wait to see what you create, have fun!  Make the most of today....enjoy!
