Flowers Of Tomorrow...

I created this for the Viva la Verve challenge; VLVJUl04 from a couple of weeks ago, the twist was to use vellum. I am so vellum challenged....lol. I have waited until the last minute to get my card done because of the velum, I punched a couple of butterflies out of a swirly vellum and added pearls. I know it's not a great use of vellum but hey, I used vellum so it counts. I also incorpated today's SCS WT229 to use office supplies, I used the SU offfice clips to hold the ribbon. All the stamps are Verve, I hope you like my vellum creation be it small, enjoy your evening!

Thanks To Someone Very Special

I created this for today's CC229 to use certainly Celery, Pixie Pink, and Apricot Appeal; I used Prism papers that match these SU colors. I used Verve stamp set called Floral Symphony, I added pearls to each of the buttons to give it a more elegant look. You will not believe this but the sentiment is SU Rich Razzleberry stamped off once, I think it looks very similiar to Su Pixie Pink. I do not have Pixie Pink so I can't be sure, but it does look close, what do you think? Another very cimple card but I think it is cute. This is also for this past weeks The Pink Elephant Challenge, TPE25 which is a sketch. Enjoy your evening!

Thank You

I have created this for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, you can read all about it here, SSSC28. I had such fun with this sketch, I used the SU dp Raspberry Tart, it has been quite neglected at my house. I really like it but I always feel like it is a little loud. I used one piece for my entire back of the card. My card size is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 . I have been making this size card so much lately, it is an adorable size. I tied a bow with a added butterfly, and the leaf coming from the sentiment, and of course the main circle makes up my three circles of the sketch. I hope you like it and enjoy your evening.

Abundant Blessings

Good morning, it is time for another mojo sketch. I cannot wait to see what you gals do with this sketch. I am luvin these colors together SU Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, and Kraft. I used the flower from the Verve Abundant Blessings set for my main circle, I decided not to matte it on another piece of card stock. I wanted the flower to really pop, I added the tag with the sentiment tied with ribbon and twine. I used the SU Build-a-Brad, punched out a piece of Bermuda Bay and placed in each one. Be sure to check out the other mojo makers creations here. Enjoy your Monday, it is only four more days until the weekend.....hehehe.

Simple

Happy Friday to everyone, I am so glad the weekend is here. I look forward to the weekend so much, I feel like I have more time to create on the weekends. I created this card for Karen's sketch from last Sunday SSSc27. I decided to keep it simple and make a serene sympathy card. I stamped the sentiment long ways, stamped the main image and added my glitter pen to the little puff blooms. I added ribbon and a tiny button. Have a wonderful weekend, we will hooking up our new computer tomorrow. I hope it doesn't keep me away long.....enjoy!

God's Way Is Perfect

I created this for today's SCS sketch, SC238; it is a fun one with lots of options. I used all Prism papers, which I luv and Sweet 'N Sassy images. This adorable butterfly is from the Beautiful Borders set, I just stamped one on each circle, colored with copic marker R85, sponged, and punched out. I used the new SU in color Melon Mambo to stamp the sentiment. I distressed the edges, ran checkered ribbon through a punched out eyelet for an extra touch. This is also for The Pink Elephant Challenge to use animals, TPE24; I know my butterflies are a stretch...hehehe...I hope that is ok. I really enjoy TPE challenge. I hope you are having a wonderful week and remember to show others around you some love. Enjoy!

Winter Wishes

Good morning, I hope your mojo is in full swing for this awesome sketch. I am in the Christmas card mood, I know in a month or so I will be kicking myself.....lol. I like to get a head start, I am task oriented. For today's card I used the new SU dp, luv it and the new SU snowflake punch. The stamp set I used is called Snow Wonderful and it is on sale over at Verve. I used a zig zag stitch down the columns of the sketch, I added a sentiment circle and a snowflake. I used a glitter pen to color in the snowman's body for a little added shimmer. I added a olive colored velvet ribbon and olive stickles for the buttons on the snowman, soooo cute. I hope you enjoy my mojo card and all the other fabulous mojo makers creations. You can head over to the Mojo Sketch Blog to view the other creations.

Congratulations Diane

I created today's card for the FS128, Diane; you can click here to see her work. I was drawn to a card she had made with a big bow, striped background, and the darker background of the main image. I noticed that several of he creation she used darker backgrounds for the main image, I really like the look of that. You can see the card I was inspired by here. I used my scalloped nesties for the main panel, stamped onto the dp, added the butterfly from SU, I think this has got to be one of my favorite butterflies, it's beautiful! I added Kaiser bling to the body and a small amount of stitching the the corner. Instead of the striped dp, I used my Scor Pal to score the back panel. This is also Taylors' sketch for the week, TECC74. I absolutely luv the pumpkin color with the chocolate color, don't you? Enjoy your day!

Verve Project Parade-Divine Details

This is for the Verve Project Parade and for Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch challenge from last week.. You can learn about the Verve Project Parade here. You can learn more about the sketch challenge here. I used sewing, sponging, and made a tag. I am a sketch girl and almost always start with a sketch and then I am drawn to color, dp, or ribbon that I want to use. Sometimes I use embellishments as a starting point, but if I do it is because I want to use a particular color. I also like depth and try to use images that can be cut out and/or popped up. I used the wide striped ribbon from last Winter's SU cattie for this card. I also used colors from our wedding, I wanted to load this to the LSC from yesterday but I was missing some of the requirments so I cannot load it. Part of the challenge yesterday was to use high school colors or wedding colors. I used our wedding colors, I wore a ivory dress and carried red roses and dh wore a black suit with a ivory shirt and red tie. I added one of my favorite photos from our wedding for you to see, my dh has since cut his hair if you are wondering. Enjoy!

I print my image on patterened paper and cut it out just like stamping, easy peasy! My card is very simple, I added sewing, a few kaiser Craft Pearls, and the SU HPH with the sentiment. I hope you play along with us this week, to see all the other Sweet Stop creations go here.
