simon says stamp/add a sentiment - a little note

Be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, we are challenging you to add a sentiment. The design team is using fun products from clearly besotted, be sure to check them out. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used the gorgeous flower set from clearly besotted call just for you, isn't it pretty? I stamped the flower on watercolor paper and then colored it using daniel smith watercolors... I luv these, so gorgeous colors! You can see some of the daniel smith watercolors here. I then used paper artsy paint to light scribble around the entire flower to frame it out nicely! I luv the perfectly sloppy look it gives. Of course I needed a few random clear sequins to finish my card. Be sure to stop by the rest of the simon says stamp team and see what they have created!

I sure hope you will play along with us this week, just look at that sketch, it is a heart in it...squuueal..now you to not have to use a heart, but you know me..pitter patter. This weeks amazing sketch is designed by kim singdahlsen. I have created a little watercolor splash background and then I added an adorable little gc bag made with the sweet die from the stamp market called gift for you stamp and cut bundle. I stamped it with a few polka dots; so fun and then layered with a patterned paper heart cut from the lil' inker stitched heart die. A tag sentiment from pebbles and a few soft pink enamel dots. I also played along with card concept, be sure to check out the rest of the team for inspiration!

as you see it - hey, hi, hello there

hello friends, happy friday...don't ya just luv fridays?.....they are my favorite day of the week if I am not working the weekend...ha! I am in the heart mood, I luv making cards with hearts anytime, but really enjoy pulling them at around valentine's, most of us do not need a lot of valentine's day cards so I like to incorporate the hearts with my cards and a general sentiment. I have used the gorgeous flower and leaf from the stamp market, called the watercolor bouquet stamp and cut bundle....one of my favorite flowers! I then used my favorite heart die from lil inker to cut it out to expose the sweet flower, luv the way it turned out! Of course I added it all to a piece of watercolor paper that I had swooshed some ink on, so pretty and easy. I cannot wait to see what you create with this weeks sketch! Don't forget to check out the rest of the teams creations for even more inspiration.

simon says stamp/patterned paper - be brave

Be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge are using patterned paper, you can make your own if you've like. The design team is using products from doodlebugDon't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used a mix of papers from an easter doodlebug pad and from the sweet labels and tags fun in the sun pack. I have cut the papers to replicate cute banners and then tied them with bakers twine. I used watercolored background and some embossing paste for added texture. The be brave sentiment is from tim holtz chipboard sentiments. I luv patterned paper especially when there is a mix of colors and designs paired together. I cannot wait to see how you take on this weeks challenge.

words with meaning - you can't pore from an empty cup, take care of yourself first.
