Keep Shining

 Playing with the Fusion challenge once again. This one was hard for me, although I was drawn to the starfish I am not a beach person.  So instead of the starfish, I went with a star, now those I luv using on my creations! I have used a Verve sentiment from the set Shining Star.  I embossed the stars and made the middle one different purposely. I will have another post later today share...enjoy!

Let Go and Let God


I am sharing a card I created to play along with the gals from Dynamic Duos, I adore this color combo.  I have used the De'sire Gun Metal embossing folder, covered with gesso, and then sanded. I really luv the way it turned out.  Of course I added all sorts of hearts, a stapled tab, lace trim, washi tape and a big 'ole button. The sentiment is from Verve, it is from the set Let It Be. Happy Thoughts

Happy weekend, the rain has finally stopped and the sun is finally shining here! My stamping time may start to slow, I can get out in the sunshine now.  I have used the awesome Sketchbook Saturday sketch for today's card. I have used My Mind's Eye designer papers, I kinda hoard those papers uv the designs so much! I have also used a sweet Desire Embossing folder on SU Core'nations paper and sanded it...luv this look! Birthday Wishes



Playing around with the Seize The Birthday sketch, luv there sketches and the concept of making birthday cards.  I have really increased my birthday stash by playing along with these gals, thanks   I have used distressing over an embossing folder, so luv the look. I have used chipboard hearts from Heidi Swapp, I am addicted to using these too...lol.  I have been playing in my studio for two days, it has rained for two days straight, seriously.  My tomato plants and hanging baskets are luv all the rain.

Happy Graduation

Good morning, it is time to share my take of this weeks Viva la Verve sketch. Maureen has created this sweet sketch and we both used doilies for those half circle, so dig out those sweet doilies if you like; it is the obvious choice! A very quick post to share a couple of cards I created to play along with a few sketches. I have been wanting to play with Cards In Envy, because it is more CAS and I like a challenge...lol.  I do prefer my shabby/chic fussy cards, but wanted to play along.  The top card is my favorite and I used one of the tags I purchased from one of my all time favorite Etsy Shops, Creative Visions.....luv here work!  She has some amazing Americana tags, I could reach for one of her tags every time I create! Short and sweet from me today....hope your day is awesome...enjoy!

I am sharing another shabby/chic card I created to play along with Cardabilites and Moxie Fab.  I adore Cardabilities sketches and this one was a blast like usual!  I have added all sorts of sweetness to this one, a big bloomer, a huge button, burlap string, pom pom trim...sweet, and a tiny clothes pin. Welcome Baby

Just A Note


Good morning, I had a blast with this sweet card, I was in a mood to keep adding...lol.  I am playing along with a newer challenge blog and it is a sketch this week, luv my sketches!  It is called the Jo's Scrap Shack, check them out and play along! I adore this paper pack from Crate Paper called Fourteen, it is so vintage looking.  I added some Mr Huey's Spritz and I used Gesso on the heart, I luv texture and the look the Gesso gives when clumped up.  I hope you are inspired by my card today and don't forget to enter my giveaway, a Verve gift certificate is part of the goodies...yeah!  Hope your day is awesome...enjoy!

Our Little Mircale

Good morning peeps, I have been so busy this week with no time to stamp....aackkk. Heart Flowers and Birthday Blessings

Playing along with Retro Sketches and yesterday's Featured Stamper, Vicki.....her gallery is amazing!  I was inspired by her heart flower card below.  I used smaller hearts and the retro sketch, came together quickly. The birthday sentiment is from Verve's set On Occasion. I used lots of misc designer papers for this, oh what fun! I adore designer papers and luv being able to use up stash.
