good morning friends, I am so excited about this weeks sunday stamps challenge, I adore the color combo and the sweet inspiration photo! I sure hope YOU play along with us, there are hearts in the photo...eeecckkkk! I have used concord & 9th stamps for this card....luv the sophisticated script lettering set...so fun, I used it to create the kind sentiment! i used a polka dot stencil for the top part of my card and tim holtz black soot distress ink and then I had painted the pink stripes...sooooo fun! I have used the awesome big ole' dots...modern pop dots stencil for my background. I used tim holtz festive berries red...so pretty! I stenciled in a messy way, luv how it turned out. I then cut out the star using Lil' Inker stitched star dies and the added wendy vecchi embossing paste and the memory box textured distressed grid stencil. The awesome words are from the versatile sentiment set called words to live by. i added pretty pink posh star sequins, and hero arts clear gemstones to each one, a few enamel dots, and twine to finish my card. good morning friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was super fast, had to work Saturday and that always makes for a fast weekend. I have used tim holtz distress inks to hand paint my flowers using a paint brush....YES, you read it correct, that was my first attempt to free style painting flowers...not perfect but so, so. You should give it a try, it was fun and the choice of flowers are endless...go for it! I used the Verve sentiment from the set be blessed. I was inspired by the gorgeous flower image at inspired by over on Lesley's blog..check it out. your next stamp feature day-{heart} coffee

hi friends, it is time for the feature day at your next stamp, I have used the sweet stamp set called coffee is boss. Once I had cut the scalloped square shape, I thought of a postage stamp, it would be cool to create a postage stamp using the coffee set. The USPS could use some help with creating pretty stamps and a coffee series of stamps would be awesome; don't you think? I made my card more on the vintage side after the postage stamp idea came up, I added a gold glittery heart and some gold striped washi tape. I have used the adorable journaling cards from we r memory keepers, I luv the smile big sentiment on the card. I have filled my shaker with sweet beads, silver hearts and sequins...sooo fun! I kept my card super simple and tilted my panels and added some twine. I wanted the shaker to be the main focus. I should attempt these more, I really like the look, but struggle to achieve it. I cannot wait to see whta you all come up with, I could use the inspiration and push.  Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

hello friends, it is time for this weeks mojo monday sketch, I adore the sketch...luv the perfect panels; even though I made my imperfect...lol...go figure...lol. I also played along with the inspired by challenge, I fell in luv with the peach and goldcake...sooo pretty. I have used the a cut above retired star dies. The stamp set is from the sparkly dreams set, luv the large sentiment. I ink splattered the star sentiment shape and sponged the stars with gold ink. happy birthday

A quick but fun CAS card for a couple of challenges. I have been wanting to play along with Lesley's inspired by challenge since she  started it, but this is the first time I have had a chance. She has shared some amazing inspiring photos to get your creative juices flowing! I used a memory box stencil for my card and then sponged in tim holtz mini distress ink and spritzed with water....sweet look! The cute flower is from the new reverse confetti release. I am playing along with a couple of challenges using one of my favorite stamp companies stamps; concord & 9th...luv! I wanted to play along with the fusion challenge, but struggled with the purple...lol..if you know me you know I rarely use purple...eeeccckkk. I still kinda cringe as I look at my card...lol...I went ahead with it because I am embracing my fears...*grin* I watercolored the background and then added a few strips of sweet patterned paper, I then stamped the heart and added perfect pearls and some sequins. I went with a mixed media background using ken oliver color bursts and then spritzed with white mister huey's. I adore the stripe-tastics heart dies from your next stamp company, sweet set, you can get yours here. I so luv the font on this sentiment, it is called whatnot sentiments set four. I layered the hearts and sentiment, added a twine bow and of course my beloved clear gemstones...sweet. I adore paper smooches stamps and could not wait to create this week, although the one layer had me skeeerrd.....lol. I did a little water coloring for a sweet pool background and then randomly stamped the flowers overtop. Adding a little stickles to the fuchsia colored flowers. I sooooo luv this sentiment, how often do we let life get in the way of stopping and thanking God for all of our blessings...take nothing for granted! be sure to stop by the design teams blog and check out what they have created, these ladies are amazing! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!
