Girly Book

This top note die box was made for several challenges, CC193, fan club challenge for November, Chick Lit MIM1108 this challenge you where to make a card/project, one simple and the other stepped up a notch! BAM! thanks Emeril! I came up with the Girly Book title because I think that the top note die is girly looking with the curves. All of us girls like having some curves....hehehe. I think it looks like a little book, too.....Girly Book. All the the stamps are Verve. I used SU ribbon, and added dazzling diamonds to the snowflakes on the stepped up version. I also added Hero Atrs bling for the snowman button, and I colored in the stepped up version. The tutorial for these little boxes is done by Angie Tieman, you can visit her blog schwoo! for more details. I have also added pictures and instructions. I luv these little boxes, perfect for gift cards this hoilday season. Make one for youself and enjoy!

Take a sheet of CS size 8" x 5 1/2" and score on the long side at 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", and 7" . Then on the other side score on both ends at 1".

Cut the tiny scored pieces into the 1" mark.

Take a regular sized card and your top note die and run it throught your cutter. I used a Cuttlebug. The recipe for running through the CB: starting from the bottom, B plate, top note die cutter up, CS, and the other B plate and run through the cuttlebug .

I used my crop-a-dile for the eyelet holes and added black eyelets. I used tacky tape on the inside for the ribbon.

Tacky tape pulled away ready for ribbon.

Ribbon in place and ready to be added to the box.

Tacky tape on all sides of the top and bottom of the little box.

Shown finised with a Starbucks gift card ready for gift giving.

Gift cards fits perfectly inside...Merry Christmas!
