you're the best

There is nothing better that YOU....I am honored by your comments and encouragement! I feel so very blessed and I luv to share with YOU my readers. I am starting early with the birthday month giveaways. Next month is my birthday month and I always have a giveaway every week of the month....for my birthday I like to share my goodness with YOU! I have played along with the prima marketing 30 day color challenge, this is day 2 blending...I am still learning to use my prima paints. I have used the altenew flower and prima pencils for this challenge!

To start the giveaway, I am giving away lots of old Verve stamps, only because I need to make room and clear out...I am extremely neat and must keep things moving! This is the very first time I have ever gotten rid of any of my beloved Verve....sniff, sniff. When I say beloved I mean it, these stamps are highly stained and used. The picture below is what's up for grabs, two different people will get one of each of the stacks. You must leave a message sharing with me something NEW you want to try and how to get in touch with you. You have until Wednesday June 29 at 6:00PM EST to leave a message. I will draw a winner before July 1.

I have also shared a couple of photos of me and the hubs on our Niagara Falls, Canada vaca trip!

  1. Happy, happy birthday, Teresa! Can't imagine turning loose of Verve stamps---mine are beloved, too. The latest thing on my "to try" crafting list is Zig brush markers.

  3. Happy early birthday! Mine is in August. Your card is beautiful. Thanks for posting your Niagara Falls picture. Made me think back to when Wolfgang and I visited, and to the pretty photo I took with a rainbow in it. I would like to try different means of water coloring. Thanks for your generous prize chance. I have one set of Verve stamps and dies, and really enjoy using them.

  5. Wishing you many birthday blessings next month! Your card using Prima paints is gorgeous - I have not tried these! Something on my list that I would like to try (I have a long list!) is Copic Markers. A technique I would like to try is a slider card, also a pop-up card. You are having an awesome giveaway! Your well-loved stamps would find a nice home here! Thank you so much! I enjoyed seeing your photos - such a nice pic of you and hubby! I've always wanted to go to Niagara Falls - so beautiful! Looks like you had a wonderful time!

  7. What a beautiful card! Love those colors together. I'll have to find time to play with them. I would love to learn more about mixed media. Those Verve stamps are very well loved. I love the few I have, too. Happy early birthday to you!

  8. Teresa, Niagra falls is hopefully on my bucket list for my 25th wedding Anniversary! I would love to see it from both sides. What great pictures! I understand the neatness thing...it seems to make me more creative when my space is tidy. In fact, I am in the process right now reorganizing my studio, as we just had new windows installed this week and they made such a dusty mess. Parting with Verve stamps would be tough as that is my very first stamp company that I fell in love with! Julee is the reason I stamp and have my own blog! I am in the mist of learning how to color better, I tend to use colored pencil as I feel like I have a bit more control than with markers. Happy Early Birthday to you!

  16. Teresa, I was going to say I wanted to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel but I am sure that is against the law. My new is very simple, this year I want to master a few folds, with lined envelopes that match to give as gifts. Last year I made Christmas cards and gifted 8-10 in early Dec to special friends. I love stamping, stencils and embossing. I am mailing birthday cards to whoever wants one so if you send me your address I will be so pleased to send you a card. Blessings Carole carolerobb@rogers.com

  17. First, your card is just amazing, Teresa! I just LOVE your work! Something new I'd like to try is watercoloring with actual artist watercolor paints. I bought an inexpensive set, but haven't tried them yet. BTW - HAPPY BIRTHDAY month!!

  20. Always love your blog and inspiration!! When I saw your picture of Niagra Falls it reminded me of pics I had seen of my parents on their honeymoon 65 years ago:) I have never tried the no line watercoloring but want to give it a try. Thanks for sharing some of your retired goodies:) Carolee. 22. I would really love to try Dr. PH Martins but I can't really afford more watercolors and I don't have room for all those bottles. My three favorite ways to watercolor are reinkers, Zigs and Distreess Markers and of those I would say Distress Markers are my absolute favorite. Beautiful project!

  23. Her Teresa! Looks like Niagra was a blast! What a great place to visit! Happy early birthday to you; so sweet of you to be offering up some Verve! What do I want to try- hmmmm that is a toughie, especially as I am currently brain dead after having my parents here for a visit. Can it be something as simple as learning new techniques?? I have the pleasure of going to Lydia's retreat in July and an anxious to learn new things-especially the gelli plate! Thanks much, friend! You know how to reach me. :)

  26. Happy early birthday wishes !!!! You gotta love the falls it's so pretty there and it's just fun to walk around and see all the tourist attractions. Never went on the boat perhaps one day. You took some great shots of the falls too
I'd love to try distress markers that would be new for me I and it would be fun to see the different effect they give
    Thank you for the chance,

  27. What a lovely thing to do for your birthday!! Wish I had that many stamps that I needed to give some away. Love the Niagara photos, I went there many years ago on my OE (I live in New Zealand) and was able to visit both sides and go on Maid in the Mist. It was so beautiful and something I will never forget!! I would really like to try making some interactive cards, they scare me a bit as my cards are usually very simple and CAS but they look so much fun. My email address is shona.chambers@orcon.net.nz and thanks so much for the chance to win!!!
