TAG Your It

I luv tags...OCC is having a Tag Challenge, if it is about tags, count me in....lol....I just luv making these little babies!  I made these tags using different dies, Verve Stamps, SU, PTI, and the gorgeous papers from K & Company called Yuletide.  I used the yummy color combo of  green, pink, and red.  The snowflakes and a star where inspired by this photo from today's IC260.  I have made a couple of sets, so these are in my Etsy store if you are interested.  I will see you back here later tonight with my last creation with the Curtain Call DT, the new DT will start next week.  Have a super evening, you know  tags can be used as Christmas ornaments too!  Enjoy *~*

A Warm Hello

Good morning and Happy July 4, I hope you have lots of fun planned for this great American holiday!  But now, it is time for a cupcake...hehehe...CIC66.  I think these cupcakes are so stylish, head over to the CIC Blog and see the other sweeties creation and to play along.  I started by using the sketch from CAS-tastic, CWC010 this is my first time playing along with these gals, fun sketch!  I was drawn to the pink, red, and of curse green.  I used the stamp set from Ippity called Now & Forever, I luv these stamped on dp(designer paper) and cut out.  I used some random designer paper for the card and added PTI ribbon.  A button bow to finish off the center and my card is complete.  This also fits The Play Date Cafe Challenge, PDCC36.  Now I have to tell you that is was not that easy, for some reason I could not pull this simple card together last night.  I do hope you like my cupcake creation and most of all I hope you play along with us.  I do my best to get around and show some luv.  Have a wonderful day....enjoy!

Wishing You

Good morning, I have a gorgeous cupcake to share and get your mojo flowing....this cupcake is covered with teals and browns.  What a fabulous color combo, I really like SU Taken with Teal and it's not in the new cattie...I will have to see if Mikey's has a color in Bazzil to compare.  On with today's card,  This is this weeks Cupcake Inspiration, CIC64....I used a really deep chocolate Bazzil paper and the teal houndstooth SU Sweet Pea designer paper.  The sentiment is Verve Wishing You (Verve is having a release this Friday, JUNE 25..I will be peaking sets later in the week) and the big ole flower is from the Ippity set Now and Always.  I layered the flower and added a little stickles and a dark brown button.  Speaking of buttons, I had bought a bag of buttons at Hobby Lobby(in PA, we don't have one near me) a year ago; anyway I thought the buttons where a mix of soft green, blue, and plums.  I discovered last night that they are a deep chocolate(I had been looking for deep chocolate) I felt like I had hit the jackpot...lol.  I was under my trusty Ott light and seen that they are truly chocolate.....what a wonderful surprise!  Back to the card, I added a piece of ric rac, it is paper but it sorta looks like ribbon.  The die is from PTI, I also added a row of stitching.  I hope you have a wonderful day and I surely hope you will play along with us, you can see the all the other sweeties creations at the Cupcake Inspiration Blog.  I used the Clean & Simple sketch, FTL95...luv the sketches over there, check them out!  Enjoy!

Good morning, I have the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC63 to share.   I think today's cupcake is adorable, but I haven't met a cupcake I didn't like...hehehe.  Have you seen the new Cupcake Inspiration Blog and Rachel will be announcing the Top five every week, so get your creations in.  I used the sketch from the Dirty Dozen Challenge, DDSKETCG0510.
I am having so much trouble with my computer and editing pictures this morning.  I am going to keep this post short, I am getting a little aaahhhh frazzled...lol.  I have to share the fabulous tutorial for these flowers it is from the super talented Rae, Simply Rae, click on the link to find out how to make them!  I added a piece of chocolate card stock to the end before rolling to give the center bloom a little punch, I like the look, do you?  The sentiment is Verve stamps, I will be back to clean up this post, I am in a hurry this morning.  Enjoy!
Be sure to check out the other sweeties creations
