Mojo Monday Sketch Blog . I created this for her first Mojo sketch. The stamps are Verve and the set is called

Snow Wonderful, I have gotten so much use from this set, I luv the snowflakes and two snowmen, just adorable. I used white, baja breeze, and wild wasabi, the dp is unknown. I colored the snowman and snowwomen with my copics and SU markers. I hand drew the little holly on my snowwoman. I cut them out and popped them up. I used torn white paper, added dazzling diamonds to make the snow. I used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch with a dew

drop in the center for the snowflake on the top left and dew drops on

the bottom row. The sentiment is stamped and punched out with SU circle punches. I hope you enjoy your visit and don't forget to go by the Mojo Monday blog and play along. Ribbons and Pearls

Hi all, I hope that everyone is having a great Saturday, I have to take the Christmas decorations down.....fun, fun! I spent yesterday with some friends who also create and upload to SCS, Deb aka debhorst and Wanda aka cullenwr. We went shopping for some play toys, if you know what I mean. There is a scrapbooking store about an hour from us called Handcraft House they have really come along way in the last year.....lots and lots of "good stuff". Well, lets get do todays card, I created this for todays IC161, wow there are some fabulous cakes on that site. I luvd this cocolate cake, I wonder if it is chocolate on the inside....hmmm...yummy!

Super simple card, I used

chocolate strips of cs on top of chcolate, added, the cutzie flowers, the white ribbon, and mounted on a piece of white cs, and then to the base of the white card. The sentiment is from Michaels and is layered with a Martha Stewart scalloped punch and the SU

1 1/4" circle punch. I hope you enjoy your day!

WOW I Am Thrilled

Happy New Year And Many Blessings For 2009!

I am sooo excited about the New Year, God has so much He wants to do through all of us, I pray that we will all listen and be obedient! I have several things I want to share, a couple of things will be posted later today or tomorrow. I am not sure how some of you feel about personal stuff on card blogs, but I like to know a "little" about the people I follow. I think it is a great way to encourage and pray for each other and well, our creativity and who we are go together. I would luv to hear your feedback about mixing the two. I have chosen to share small pieces of my life, I hope you enjoy knowing and are lifted up! I have been a big supporter of Locks Of Love for about ten years and during this time have donated my hair four times. Blogger Group 3 Challenge 3

I created this for the Blogger Group #3, challenge #3, it is a sketch challenge. I used my Sweet n Sassy Stamp, it is called For You Snowman. Head over the SNSS and check out the great year end sale. I added dazzling diamonds to his body and colored the rest of him with copics. I added bling for random snowflakes, scalloped the bottom, added baja ribbon, and a sentiment tag. National Hugging Day

I created this card for todays SC209, I need some thank you cards for Christmas. I used SU upsy daisy and rock and rolled it in riding hood red and river rock. I then covered the flowers with crystal effects to give them some shine, I am not sure if you can see it in the photo, but they are really shiny. I added the riding hood red ribbon, I think by now you know I luv the riding hood red color, it is one of my favorites! I added American Crafts cranberry brads that match the riding hood red perfectly. Several of American Craft brads match SU colors very nicely. I stamped the Verve seniment and punched it out with the circle punches. The dp is KaiserCraft. I hope you enjoy visit and my cards today!

I created this card for the Dirty Dozen Sketch DSKETCH1208 and for the Dirty Dozen Central Theme CT1208 to pick a lesser known holiday. I chose National Hugging Day, it is January 21...remember to hug someone or two on that day. I used my Stampendous Chanitogo's Love Balloon stamp, I think it is perfect for the Hugging Day. I used riding hood red, pink pirouette, white, and basicgrey dp. I colored the monkeys with SU markers, paper pierced the balloon, and sponged around the monkeys and the edges. I stamped HUG somebody today as the sentiment and punched it out with the circle and scalloped punches. I also faux stitched around the outside edges. It would be great for Valentines day too....I hope you like it! Enjoy

Sweet Love

I created this for Julee's Mondays Mojo67, I turned mine to fit the Verve Black Tie Birdies . They are so adorable. It also fits HCE09 to use tags and HCE10 to alter an embellie, I added dazzling diamonds to the vanilla hph. I sponged around the top panel and the "sweet" sentiment. The ribbon came from Michaels but matches close to cocoa perfectly. Check out the Mojo Monday challenge and play along, enjoy your visit!

FS99 Congratulations Barbara

I created these little treat bags from the awesome gallery of yesterdays FS99 Barbara. I must tell you gals that I have been sick for two days, I haven't even felt like stamping...you know thats a sad day when you don't even want to play. I am started to feel a little better this morning, I luv playing the FS of the week from SCS. Back to Barbara and her gallery, you gotta go check it out, it is full of the sweetest little gifts....I luv some of her ideas! She had these cute little treat bags in her gallery and I knew I wanted to make them along with some of the other great gift ideas. I used the nestie one label dies to make the tops of the gift bags, I also used the stamp set called Holiday Collection from the Country Living Set. I filled the little bags with Hershey Kisses, they are near and dear to my heart...wink! For those of you who don't know I package Kisses in my day job! This adorable little treat bag also fits this weeks OCCC to use something clear on your card or project. I encourage you to play along, if you visit Barbara's blog you will see that you need to keep your eye out for $1 items at our favorite dollar spots Target, Big Lots and the Dollar Tree. Riley Sking In Winter Wishes

I created this card for the Whimsy DT call, you are to use Whimsy stamps if you have them. If not, use an animal stamp with at least three layers and three embellies. I used Riley, I do not have any Whimsy; but they are so adorable I will have to get some. I used the Mojo66 for the layout, it is a great layout. I used dp from Basicgrey, the colors are always artichoke, riding hood red, and white. I popped the sentiment up and layered it to give it depth. Enjoy your winter!

Verve Flourish

I am soooo excited to bring you this Jazzy Inspiration challenge, check it out and play along. It is based on the jazzy album cover seen here., you are to use the colors red, balck, and white. I used my Verve stamps for this one, it is called Filigree Fantasy. It has so many flourishes with it, that means endless possiblities. I embossed them with black ep on the white cs and white ep on the black cs. I also used this past Wednesday sketch, SC208 at SCS. I used a piece of real red dp from SU and I added a red gem brad to the center. Check out the Jazzy challenge and play along. One Love

I do hope that everyone has had a wonderful day with family and friends. I have had a wonderful day, dh and I are chillin so of course I have made time to stamp. I created this for todays WT198 and for the extra holiday challenge HCE06. The holiday challenge was to make a one layer card, I wanted so badly to reach for all the toppings....hehehe...if you know what I mean. I kept to the rules and I am very pleased with the turn out. I will give this to dh, I know it has flowers but he always luvs the cards I give him....he is my biggest fan! Enjoy your evening!

Happy Birthday Balloons

I created this card for three challegnes, check them out and play along. Todays CC198 , to use so safron, cameo coral, and orchid opulence...I must say I was toatlly afraid of these colors. i do not have the bold brights they are my least favorite colors; I used lavander lace instead. This is also the extra holiday challenge from SCS HCE04 to make a birthday card, use three punches, 1 piece of dp, 2 colors plus a neutral, and ribbon as the only embellie. This is also fits Julee's Mojo Monday sketch Mojo66, I used my Verve ballon stamp......this set is so adorable. I used a 8" instead of the 11" long sheet of cs to fold in half. It makes a regular size card when you add the top note die cut out like I did here. Enjoy your evening, I will be adding a few personal photos during the Christmas season.

Scrapling Snowman

Oh my....I am soo excited about these little "scraplings". They are so fun to make and so very clever, I have so many ideas running around in my head. I get very excited about the smallest of things, so no doubt I am totally excited about these. I thought they would be great to set at each place setting for Christmas this year, I am off to make everyone a "scrapling". I can hear it now, "What did you get for Christmas?" response, "a scrapling" , " a what?" hehehehe.

Super simple to make they are 1.25" x 8.50" piece of cs, finished size is 1.25" x 4.25". You can learn more about these here HCE03. I also done todays SCS challenge to do Faux Silk with a pop, you can learn about that here TLC200. It was made with mainly scraps, enjoy this fun little project.

FS98 Congratulations Paula

I created this for todays FS98, Paula. If you have not seen her coloring you must check it out...so awesome! I kept everything, but changed the stamps, colors and used paper piercing rather than stitching. I luv this little sketch, I used some great textured watercolor paper that is ivory in color. It was gave to me by a friend....thanks R! I lightly sponged the sides with mellow moss, I used riding hood red on the tag sentiment. I used hemp twine and large pop dots to give it depth. These colors are awesome together; mellow moss, riding hood red, and the ivory. Enjoy your visit and come back often!

Very Merry Mittens

I created this card for TECC47, I used one of my favorite stamps from Rubbernecker, the little mittens and you know I luv adding glitz to them. I used the circle nesties and added pop dots to give depth. I stamped the sentiment with white ink on riding hood red cs. I added the dew drops at the bottom. I aslo stamped snowflakes on the inside of the card, making it extra special. I can't seem to make enough Christmas cards this year. I think I should start in January on next years cards...lol. Maximo Trees

I created this card for todays IC159, there is some very interesting pieces of art on this site, check it out and play along.

I was inspired by this pillow, but I changed the colors to make it a little brighter, kiwi kiss is definitely bright. I used Mojo65 sketch. I ran the piece of riding hood red through the CB with the houndstooth embossing folder, I really like the great texture the houndstooth gives cs. I ran the main panel through the CB with the label 1 nesties and sponged the edges with kiwi kiss, added kiwi kiss ribbon, and the sentiment. The trees are different companys, I can't remember where I got them. I have several more cards to make for Christmas, I received two big orders this past week. Enjoy your visit and come back often. Mostly Blue Snowflakes

I created this for todays LSC199, to use mostly blue on your creation. I wanted to add chocolate chip, I ran it through the CB with the snowflake embossing folder and then lightly sponged it with white. I added a piece of baja breeze dp stamped with white snowflakes. I then added Martha Stewart snow to the cut out snowflakes. I stamped Merry Christmas in chocolate chip and added baja breze ribbon tied with hemp. I Now Have Music

Hi everybody...I am still here. I have been so busy, trying to get through the work week, Christmas get togethers, and stuff for church, I have not had the time to create and bring you new posts. I will be on ten hour shifts the next two days and working Saturday then the fun starts. I will not have to go back to work until January 5, 2009.....thats a big yeah. I wanted to let you know where I have been and that I did add some great Christian music for your listening enjoyment. If you are not familiar with some of these songs I encourage you to listen to a few......they have beautiful lyrics with so much meaning. I hope to get back on track Friday or Saturday....enjoy the music!

FS97 Congratualtions America

I created this card for todays FS97 over at SCS. I used the same airplane theme that America did, but I added snowflakes to Rileys scene....hehehehe...can you tell I want some snow..alot of snow! I stamped snowflakes on the baja breeze dp, then added a piece of riding hood red, colored Riley and paper pierced his Merry Christmas to make it pop. I added SU snowflakes flurries with gemstone brads in the center. The card base is black so I added a piece of baja breeze with snowflakes and a strip of ribbon to the inside. Jazzy Silver Quintet

I created this card for the first Jazzy Challenge, we where to draw inspiration from this album cover.

I was drawn to the open hand, the five fingers, and the word silver. This huge tree stamp is by Hero Arts its called Design Block Tree. I used black, white, and basic gray as my colors. There are five layers including the basicgrey ribbon. I paper pierced around the outside of the black and gray layers. I sponged the sentiment and the spotlighting part of the tree. I chose not to use color and only sponge the spot lighted circle. This stamp is fabulous, it is huge. I hope you like my card and I hope you play along. Blue Snow

I created this for todays CC196 over at SCS, to use taken with teal, riding hood red, and baja breeze......wow....what a color combo..it is gorgeous! You must try it for yourself...just wonderful. I used Stampendous jolly snowman for this Mojo64 sketch, it fits perfect. I used baja breeze dp and stamped snowflakes on it, added bling to the scallops....I am luvin that lately! Layered the snowman with riding hood red and taken with teal, stamped Merry Christmas on to the dp. I colored the snow first with baja breeze and then added glitter...the baja breeze is slightly showing thru...it looks like blue snow, very pretty! Designer Paper Snowman

I created this card for the Sweet N' Sassy Monday Challenge to use Christmas dp. This snowman stamp is by SNSS and it is called For You Snowman he is on sale, so hurry over and get yours today. I stamped him onto the SU Christmas dp and mainly outlined him with markers, coloring in his hat and scarf. I CB the white piece of cs with the snowflake embossing folder and then lightly sponged it with baja breeze. FS96 Congratulations Anna

I created this for todays FS96 Anna over at the SCS site. You gotta check out her work...sooo awesome. She does some beautiful silhouttes, using a brayer. I do not have a brayer and always figured I wouldnt need it...I think I need it after gazing her gallery. I cased a more simple card, well, beacuse believe or not I still need Christmas cards. These stamps are from Imaginisce, they are so cute. I used kraft, SU dp, ribbon from Michael's and added brads on circle dots. I really luv using kraft, you ccan do so much with it. Snowflakes & Bling

I created this for todays IC157, I luvd this snowflake necklace. I made this with a very special friend in mind. She likes bling and stylish things....hey, that rhymes...hehehehe. I used K & Company dp, black, and white cardstock. I used SU felt flurry snowflakes with diamond brads in the center. I punched the bottom with the SU scalloped punch, I then put Hero Arts diamond bling in the center of each scallop. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with the curly label punch and the added balck ribbon. Thanks for visiting....enjoy your day!

Curly Punch Gift Tags

Here is a closer look at the gift tag...the curly punch tag is just added to the back with the ribbon between the two layers.

Well, I had one of those WOW moments last night. I was putting together a card and discovered that the SU curly punch when added to the circle nesties looks like a Christmas ornament. How fun is that....they are super easy to make. You can make all styles and colors, to match with your Christmas paper or gift bags. Envelope & Card Combo

I created this fancy envelope and card for todasy SCS challenge WT195. the challenge was to use an envelope in some way with your creation. I do not have any templates for envies, so I added ribbon and embellies to a regular size envie. Super simple card using the Verve snowman stamp and sentiment form rubbernecker. I added the wide baja breeze ribbon and dazzling diamonds to the snowmans little hat. Thanks for the visit and enjoy your day!

Simply Snowflakes

I created this card for todays sketch SC205, I really like it. It will make awesome quick Christmas cards. I used K & Compnay Christmas Cheer dp....this stuff is fabulous. The colors are rich and bold. I then added the SU felt flurry snowflakes, they really match wonderfully. I wanted to use the big Hero Arts blings in the center of my snowflakes. I didn't have big ones in black, so I took a black sharpie and colored them. I then wanted them to sparkle so I added dazzling diamonds.....instant glitter and glitz! I really wanted to add my glittery mittens from yesterday....I know you are probally over them, but not me....I just luv em! I will be making a card with the little shimmery mittens in the corner, I can't resist. I hope you enjoy your day, it is back to work for me tomorrow; I have enjoyed so much being home and playing early in the morning. Jazzed Mittens

I created this card for todays CC195, to use sahara sand, black, and vanilla. I luv these colors together, try them for yourself. I used these mittens from Rubbernecker, I colored them with black and jazzed them up with dazzling diamonds...so very cute. I would like to have a pair IRL...hehehe. The sentiment is Inkadinkado, I added some black bling to the flourishes. Everything else is basic layering. Enjoy your visit.

Speckled Snow

I created this card for four different challenges. I used todays TLC197, to used simple green spritzed on your card, I used alcohol instead. TECC44, Taylors sketch; ssnotime63 Sharon's challenge to make a thank-you card; OCCC to make a card with snowflakes or snowmen. I was determined to play today, but when I saw the challenge I was like "oh no". I have no glossy paper or simple green. I wanted to use kraft paper with bravo burgandy and the wasabi, so I spritzed the kraft with alcohol....I wounld't try this at home..lol...just kidding. It is not the best way to do this technique, but I think it turned out o.k. Using glossy paper would be much better. The sentiment is from Verve and the dp is K & Company.
