I am beaming with excitement this week and I am giving thanks! This Friday September 18, at 9:00 eastern time Verve is having another release. This is my first release as a Verve diva and the stamps are awesome, you will want to stay tuned for all the latest. Of course when Julee has a new release there are plenty of give aways, some of the divas have cooked up some great challenges and you can learn more at the SCS Verve forum. My card tonight is for Michelle's color challenge, to use orange yellow, cream, deep brown, and grey green. Be sure to use the keyword SEP09C when loading to online galleries so we can see your creation. With this being release week I am super busy getting new creations made for you to see Friday, so my card tonight is super simple. I used my new nested Maple Leafs from Nestabilities. I sponged it with Tim Holtz distressed ink Frayed Burlap. I used twine and a chocolate button tied to checkered ribbon. I paper pieced the pumpkin from the Verve Tall Oaks set. I did add a little stitching, but kept it very clean and simple. I also used my Scor-Pal to score the bottom, but I do not know if you can see it. I hope you make time to play along with the challenges, you could win some new Verve!
