Home For The Holidays-Verve Project Parade

I am excited to share with you my project for the Verve Project Parade, the theme is Home For The Holidays. We are trying to keep our gifts under $10, I bought this hanging frame from Michael's for $7.99. It is beautiful and of excellent quality, that means a lot to me. I used the SEI Winter Song designer paper, I paper pieced the tree using the Verve set Christmas In The Air. I stamped the snowflakes, cut them out, and added Martha Stewart glitter and adhered to the outside of the frame. I made a matching card, because I adore the colors and I enjoy making cards. As with all the challenges and releases there are prizes; you still have time to get yours in. Make your very own Home For The Holidays project and upload it to the Verve Blog by Thursday November 26 and you could win some new Verve! Be sure to head over to the Verve Blog and check out the other divas creations, your chances of winning are better if you comment on our projects. Enjoy your creating time!

  1. This is such a great idea. I've loved looking at all the Verve Projects this week.

We moved my Mum down to a Nursing Home near us just before Christmas last year and subsequently had to give away most of her old Chrissy stuff - I've been on the prowl for some fun things to make her myself this year and love the idea of making a framed picture for her.

    Thanks for the inspiration. :)

  3. Sorry, got my words all jumbled up in the previous comment, so had to delete. I have a blank wall in my bedroom and have been toying with the idea of creating something in a frame (long one) or 3 single frames. Thanks for the inspiration Teresa. I think I will pursue this thought, which will be a nice project for me to work on during the holidays. Hugs Sharon (shew!)
