Sympathy Cards

Good evening, wow do I have the challenges to bring to you tonight. Both of my cards tonight are Sympathy, I need a couple and need to get some in a stash. The first card is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC57. It is also for the Color Q challenge, CQC16, to use burgundy, rose, pink, pumpkin, and white. I used some of my new SU sets. The flowers and the row of flowers are from the SU set Vintage Vogue. I used silver beads in the centers. This also fits today's WT254 to cut it out. All of the flowers are cut out. Check out the post below for another card using several challenges, one which is new to me Stampin Royalty.

Stamps: SU Hearfelt Sympathy and Vintage Vogue
Paper: Bazzil White, My Mind's Eye, and SU Pumpkin Pie
Ink: SU Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Regal Rose
Accessories: Nesties Labels 4, Silver beads, Ribbon, Janome, and Glue Dots

I created this for Everything But The Kitchen Sink Sketch Challenge #3, the Just Us Girls, JUGS16 color challenge to use Burgundy, Blush, Vanilla, and Gray. I discovered a new challenge blog called Stampin Royalty #3, there challenge this week is to make a one layer card. This also fits today's WT254, to cut it out. I stamped, colored, and cut out the new Verve flower from the set Love's Flower. I added Crystal Stickles and a pearl. I popped it up on glue dots. The gorgeous flourish is from Memory Box. I didn't count my card base as a layer......hehehhe...I hope that is ok. Have a fabulous evening...enjoy!

  8. Two gorgeous cards, Teresa. I just LOVE that flower. Was leaning towards that Verve set myself but parts of it just didn't speak to me so went with the Accents set instead. May have to rethink that LOL!

Love the first card too. Great colours and use of Mercy's sketch.

  13. Good morning Teresa! You always do such a lovely job on sympathy cards...and I too should really keep some on hand, unfortunately...I've need too many lately.

Your first one is beautiful with those DP's and colors you used. Love those Nesties, flowers and your tiny pearls...

Your 2nd one? WOW...it's so soft, warm and looks like a 'hug'. Does that make sense? What a lovely, comforting card hun!
